Clarence Thomas: The REAL Black Icon

Clarence Thomas is the REAL icon. He has been the victim of more racist attacks than any political figure in recent history. The only difference is, the attacks he has endured mainly came from the black community.

Often called an "Uncle Tom", Justice Thomas believes in REAL equality and even refused to benefit from the Affirmative Action program which would give him an advantage because of his race.

This week, it was announced that Justice Thomas will be swearing in Mike Pence as Vice president. Justice Thomas will be the very first African-American Supreme Court justice to administer the oath of office to a vice president or president.

This is a huge deal, but because Justice Thomas is a black conservative, it will be ignored. Justice Thomas wasn't recognized for his achievements at the National Museum of African-American History in Culture in Washington, D.C., and he won't be recognized for this.

Trump will follow tradition and be will be sworn in by the nation's Chief Justice, John Roberts, but the incoming vice president gets to pick someone else to administer the oath of office. For this great honor, Governor Mike
Pence chose Justice Clarence Thomas.

It is a shame when liberal Democrats have become so intolerant of views that differ from their own that they cannot even celebrate a great moment in American history.
