Arab Arbor Day

Every winter Jews celebrate Jewish Arbor Day or Tu B’shvat. For several years now, Israel’s Arabs have adopted their own version of Tu B’shvat. It works like this. Every time Israel has a hamsin, a scorching heat wave, Israeli Arabs by their scores take to the groves and picnic spots and set Israel’s forests on fire. I guess it could also be considered the Arab Lag B’Omer.

It is all part of the campaign of environmental terrorism by Arabs, including and especially Israeli Arabs, against Jews. Yesterday was the hottest day of the year and dozens of arson fires were set all about the country. For perhaps the eight year running.

The environmental terrorism though has never been seen to contradict the romantic painting of Arabs of the Land of Israel being motivated by nothing but love of their land and desire to free their land from occupation. The Arabs and Palestinians love their land so passionately that they regulate set fire to it. This is much like the myth that Arabs love Jerusalem, and that it is a holy city for them, which is why they try every week to turn it into a lake of blood.

No less curious is the fact that the environmental terrorism has never made any impression on the Political-Correctness-as-Judaism schools of pseudo-Judaism, the wacky "Eco-Judaism" cults, the Waskovites, the Jewish "vegans," the Reformsynagogue posturers. They spend every waking moment hugging trees and recycling and protecting the environment, yet the environmental terrorism of the Arabs has never softened their passionate support for Palestinian fascism.

Haim Hefer is a leftist pop "poet," whose failures to rhyme regularly take up space that could better be used for ads for escort services in Yediot, Israel’s leading newspaper. He is the Yediot answer to Yebi at Haaretz, whose typical poem reads: Settlers BBBAAAAAADDDD, Arabs GGGOOOOOODDDD!!! Hefer uses his poetic talents to promote infantile leftism. He may be the only person on earth who has composed and published a poem in Hebrew slandering the US Commentary magazine. Naturally, Palestinian rights get his poetic juices all a-dripping. I believe he is the great talent behind that poem on the stall about here I sit broken hearted paid my shekel but... And in any case, he seems to be the one who composed: "Settler and Settlerette, sitting in a tree, K-I-L-L-I-N-G!!! First came love, then came marriage, then came racist incitement against po’ Palestinians..."

Haim Hefer (his name means the life of my puppy) is suddenly in the news. He has joined Yaffa Yarkoni and Yigal Tomarkin as leaders of Israel’s Kultural Klan, or Pop Stars for Infantile Leftism. (Yaffa Yarkoni is a menopausal singer who thinks Israeli troops are Nazis, whereas Tomarkin is the junkyard sculptor who thinks the Nazis had the right idea when it came to Orthodox Jews). Seems that Hami Dumbfellow is yet another racist anti-Sephardic elitist troglodyte from the Israeli Left, of the sort so familiar (Dudu Topaz, etc).

Hefer has long made nasty condescending statements about Jews of Sephardic extraction. Apparently he dislikes them cause he thinks they are inferior and they tend to vote for the wrong political parties. But he outdid himself in an interview he gave recently to the Los Angeles Hebrew newspaper serving that city’s ex-Israelis. Hefer lashed out at Morocco Jews, said they are inferior and have no culture and have contributed nothing to Israel culturally, unlike his own sublime poetic works of art. (Paid my shekel and only...)

Ok, so let us see if we have all this clear now. In Holland, prostitution and use of crack and heroin are all legal, but kosher slaughtering of chickens and cows has been prohibited by law because it is a moral offense against humanity. Got that?

Friday saw the first annual "Gay Pride" parade polluting the streets of holy Jerusalem. Haaretz says that 4000 people marched, which probably means about 400 were there, limp wrists waving in the afternoon breeze.

Now what I find so curious about all this is how every single newspaper and radio/TV station described it all as the parade of the gay-lesbian "community." Have you noticed how every single group of people, no matter what ties them together nor which behavioral disorder they share, is suddenly a "community?" Gays and lesbians are suddenly a"community." Trans-sexuals (people who mutilate themselves to make themselves look like members of the opposite sex) are a "community." People who have sex with dolphins or with Meretz’ Zahava Gal-on* are a "community." Tikkun readers are suddenly a "community."

We are looking forward to the Mentally Ill Pride Parade of the Israeli schizophrenic community, coming in the fall.

* Gal-On means a Gal who has strong masculine potency.
