The Camp David Two-Step (or is that Goose-step?)

Hard as it is to believe, it is only slightly more than one year since Ehud Slobodan Barak went to Camp David, where he offered Yassir Arafat East Jerusalem, including the Old City and the Western Wall, plus nearly all of the "occupied territories" plus parts of pre-1967 Israel plus tribute plus letting 150,000 "Palestinian refugees" enter Israel, and Arafat responded to the generosity with a year’s worth of nazi atrocities labeled by the media "Intifada II". Naturally, the media, the Israeli Left, and Shimon Peres explain away the PLO reactions as being caused by Israel not being generous enough, by Ariel Sharon going for a stroll on the Temple Mount, an act almost as provocative as an Italian politician going for a walk in the Vatican, and of course Jewish "settlements". Why Jewish "settlements" in Samaria should be regarded as a provocation, while Arab settlements in the Galilee are regarded as a natural right is never explained. And the response of the Israeli Left to the Year of Arafat Atrocities? Continue to seek "talks" and some sort of new "deal" that will obligate only Israel and not the PLO!!

Anyway, what with the holidays approaching, we thought the time might be right to repeat-post the Camp David Marching Song, composed right while Barak was in the midst of his attempted appeasements of the PLO in June 2000:

The Camp David Marching Song
(to the tune of "If I Only had a Brain" from the Wizard of Oz)

I could while away the minutes, conferrin’ with the terrorists
Consultin’ in the rain
And in my head I’ll be dividin’ up the town of Yerushalayim
Cause I never had a brain,
I’d unravel every problem till them bombs they come a lobbin’
Causin’ deaths and lots of pain
With the peace thoughts I’m a-thinkin’ I’ll get to drive the Clintons’ Lincoln
But I never had a brain,
Oh, I could tell you tonight how come they have the Return Right
I could think appeasements never thunk before
And then I’d sit, and think up some more,
I would not be just a snoozin’, the Jordan Valley losing’,
And Abu Dis the same,
I will dance and be merry, dodging shells a ding-a-derry
Cause I never had a brain.

When a man’s an empty kettle, despite all them medals,
His City torn apart
All the while he’s presumin’ that this Yassir’s kind-a-human
Cause he has no Jewish heart
He is tender and he’s gentle and awful sentimental
Preparing to depart,
From all the territories as them Arabs gets the glories
Cause he has no Jewish heart.
Picture will - a lemming still, at a Kodak moment with Bill,
A-dancin to the Meretz beat, in the street, how sweet

Just to register emotion, like cowardice or delusion,
And really feel the part
He will stay a leftist chipper next to Clinton’s open zipper
Cause he has no Jewish heart.

Yeah, it’s sad, believe me, Missy, cause this General’s a sissy
With no Viagra or verve,
And despite them medals flyin’, he’s a mou-ess and not a lion,
Cause he doesn’t have the nerve,
I’m afraid there’s no denyin’ he’s just a DandyLion
A lemming quite absurd.
He’s as brave as a partridge and as clever as an ostrich,
As the White House is a-served,
Cause he ain’t got no nerve.
