The World’s Greatest Tautology

While the Middle East conflict has always crawled with tautologies (circular and false logic) and non sequiturs, there is no doubt that the biggest tautoloy of all regards Arab violence and its "causes".

The tautology goes something like this. Palestinians and Israeli Arabs are rioting and "protesting" violently because they are mistreated, victims of discrimination, and have legitimate grievances. And what is the proof that they are mistreated and discriminated against?

Why, the fact that they are violently rioting of course. After all, why else would they be rioting? The fact that they are so angry and frustrated as to riot violently must be proof of their mistreatment. QED

You see, under PC paganism, no one ever riots or engages in violence unless they have been mistreated and subject to discrimination. This is the explanation for all violence, including the Los Angeles riots. It is the "explanation" for violence everywhere from Sri Lanka to the Philippines.

There are of course holes in the theory. The Libyans this week are running rampage and chopping off limbs of the Black African guest workers there. The skinheads and neonazis engage in violence. Edward Said throws stones. And the blacks in LA live better than the average European in Europe or Japanese in Japan.

Then there are the wider holes. Did the Germans launch Kristallnacht cause they were mistreated and discriminated against by Jews? Who was the discriminator and who the victim when BOTH Hutus and Tutsis butcher each other?

Now here is a thought. SInce the world’s media are prisoners of this PC tautology, since Israel’s lobotomized left takes it on faith, since bleeding hearts and do-gooders everywhere espouse it, maybe the time has come to have more riots by Jews? Maybe the rowdies in Jaffa and Tiberias have the right idea? I mean, how else to convince everyone that the Middle East conflict is about injustices against Jews by ARabs and not the other way around, that Jews are the victims of discrimination and not the other way around, that Jews are the victims and the Arabs are the savages? The Israeli Left and the world media (you catch the EConomist saying the whole conflict in cause the greedy Jews are trying to steal lands from their neighbors in recent issue?) are incapable of analysis deeper than a bumper sticker. What better way to "prove" that the Jews are the victims than to send out squads of violent rioters and maybe looters?

Rabbi Herling who was murdred last Thursday was murdered by PLO "police" fire and not by randam pogromchiks. You will not hear of this in Haaretz though.

At the Arab summit, the Iraqi rep called for war against the accursed Jews (not just against Israel). You will not hear about that in Haaretz.

What will you hear about? Well, Haaretz gives large coverage to a demonstration by Israel’s Stalinist Arab communist party HADASH in Haifa yesterday. Co-sponsored by Peace Now, which is doing little these days to distinguish its own agenda from the Stalinists’. Haaretz says they had "thousands" of protesters present.

The Lebanese policy of Ehud Slobodan Barak is having more success. Two Palestinian terrorists tried climbing the fence into Israel to conduct civics activities but were seen and dispatched to the great peace conference of the sky. But how long can Israelis count on such luck?

Ben Gurion University is having a feminist conference this week. They are allowing the Univeristy Prez to make a short address, but aside from him, they are making it clear that no males are allowed to attend.

A French journalist was nearly killed yesterday by pogromchiks in Ramallah. A Molotov was thrown into a Jaffa synagogue, but not clear if thrown by Arabs or Tommy Lapid.

When I was a grade schooler we had a joke. Someone would say I just saved Georgie’s life; I decided not to kill him.

Now I am reminded of this while reading about how Israel almost lost a whole minibus of soldiers to a new PLO lynch mob in the West Bank yesterday. A minibus of soldiers in basic training made a wrong turn into Tul Karem, which is closer to Netanya than Berkeley is to San Francisco. It was surrounded by a mob of stormtroopers from the PLO who fired into the bus. They demanded the Israelis turn over their weapons to the mob, and since IDF troops are under strict orders from Ehud SLobodan to cooperate with the nice nazis, they did so. The PLO mob then again opened fire into the bus, wounding some soldiers, but the bus driver hit the gas, rammed his way out, and escaped the lynching the mob was planning as a repeat of the one the PLO did at its Ramallah "police" building a few days ago.

AFter this, Jibril Rajoub, the PLO’s Himmler, announced he had "protected" the IDF troops from lynching, by - I guess - deciding not to.
