Woke Brings A New Type Of ArmyWoke-ism in the U.S. Military is another social experiment.By Bob McCray January 1, 2024
It seems every time we get a Democrat in the White House, we get some bizarre social experiment foisted on the U.S. Military. This time they are pushing Woke-isms on our military, the use of gender pronouns and whining about toxic masculinity. And heaven forbid, if the wokey trooper doesn’t like something, it must be racist. Our military requires type “A” personalities who are ready to fight, not a bunch of mamby-pamby candy asses. In a recent Time Magazine article, “Military Recruiting Problems,” by Col. Carmelia Scott Skillern and F.W. Singer, it was noted that less than 1% of the population was in the military. The writers stated that woke-ism didn’t affect the recruiting efforts of all of the various branches of the military, a statement with which I respectfully disagree, from the conversations I have had with teenagers looking at the military and former military personnel. The Woke-ism and indoctrination of socialism, along with declaring white people as racist oppressors, was a big reason they would not serve or re-enlist. The U.S. Army failed to meet its enlistment requirements for 2023 by 20,000. Another reason mentioned is that today’s youth do not see the military as relevant to their lives. This problem goes back to a lack of education in our schools with regard to U.S. and world history. You have to know where we have been, in order to know where we are going. Much of the thought toward the military is uninformed, clueless, and juvenile. One thing is for certain, you will grow up and see the world is a lot bigger than your old neighborhood. It will open your eyes as to all of the possibilities available for training and jobs after you leave the military. The U.S. Military has served as a force of deterrence, and as a counterbalance to Russia and China. When the military is well-trained and ready to act with a well-earned reputation for making the enemy pay dearly, this serves to keep the peace better than any other type of negotiation. Theodore Roosevelt said, “Speak softly but carry a big stick.” The U.S. Military, when properly led and supported by the government, has been a force for good. The U.S. Military has been wreaked at the hands of Joe Biden and his Administration of bumbling fools and sellouts. In a combination of social programs, equipment not being repaired or replaced, and personnel being misused and undertrained. We are unable to handle a large-scale war on one front, much less on two fronts as our military has always been ready to fight.
