Ignorance Has A Price - And We Are Paying It

Leftist dogma and education are incompatible. That's why the Left always seeks to destroy it.

February 5, 2024

The Left thrives on ignorance, lies, and propaganda. That’s why they have subverted education. People who are taught to think for themselves - to question, debate, experiment, postulate, and draw their own conclusions - do not support Leftist ideology and its blind, rigid demand for obedience.

They know that an educated population - educated to think and question - will always oppose their conformist dogma. That is why all totalitarian dictatorships made destroying the freedom of thought their priority. And to do that they began with taking control of the education structure, turning it from learning to propaganda.

There are thousands of examples of how Leftist rot degrades and eventually destroys formerly educated and productive societies, but let's just take one from the ever-increasing lists that their propagandists and paid shills have perverted.

Climate change.

Here is a topic that has shaped the earth for billions of years and had been lived with, coped with, and finally understood - until the Left took it over.

In a bid to foster conformity through ignorance, they hired their own greedy opportunists and directed them to push the narrative that nature does not control climate - humans do. And not all humans - only those who do not do what they say. This is because, the pet scientists babbled, only the elites of Davos and Hollywood are smart enough to know what’s best for the climate and the masses.

However, the Leftist elites also knew that in an educated society where the average person had a basic knowledge of math, physics, geography, and history, most people with even a high school education would know that the earth has been experiencing climate extremes and catastrophes for the past 4 billion years.

Anyone who could read with even a 10th-grade reading level could quickly determine that the history of the world and mankind has been shaped by droughts, floods, fires, monsoons, scorching temperatures, and ice ages since humans first swung down out of the trees.

Global warming and cooling have occurred in almost predictable cycles over the last 10,000 years of recorded history - 9,900 years of which man had no internal combustion engines to “pollute” the planet.

So if pollution and “global warming” are caused by gas automobiles and coal-fired electricity plants, what caused the abnormally cold temperature of the Little Ice Age in Europe 400 years ago or the ‘Year without a Summer’ in New England in 1816? Or the desertification of the Sahara 6,000 years ago and Dust Bowl conditions of the Great Plains less than a hundred years ago, brought on by high temperatures and lack of rain?

How do the paid “climate change scientists” explain those being caused by human activity? They don’t.

The short and cynical answer is that people with jobs generally do what they are paid to do. And when your success and career are underwritten by those to whom misinformation and myth are merely a means to power, well, it doesn’t take a genius to figure out they are going to do what they are told.

The elites also know how fragile their lie is when anyone with a basic education and a questioning mind could laugh their pseudo-science away by simply asking, “Why?” and then looking at the information themselves.

That is why the elites must ensure that the people have neither the education nor information to do either. That is why they have taken over the apparatus of education and communication, knowing that if you are bullied into blind obedience and punished for asking why, then fed lies and propaganda, once you’ve left the totalitarian mind factories, you’ll never even consider asking, “Why?”

Just ask Stalin, Hitler, and Mao - it worked out fine for them. For the millions that lived and died under their control of education and information, not so much.

The Left knows the power of ignorance,

That’s why they promote it.

We know the danger of ignorance, and

That’s why we must fight to preserve it.
