Memorial Day's Real Meaning

July 12, 2010

Contributed by a Concerned Citizen

I too know the real meaning of Memorial Day.

All of the men in my family have served in the military from both grandfathers to both sons.

Some have sacrificed their lives in order for future generations to live free.

Obama desecrates their lives and the principles and values upon which this nation was founded with his apology tours, his intent to transform us into enslaved robots, and his utter disdain for the U.S. Constitution which has served to protect and provide God-given liberties for over 200 years.

As Samuel Adams stated: ""No people will tamely surrender their Liberties, nor can any be easily subdued, when knowledge is diffused and Virtue is preserved. On the Contrary, when People are universally ignorant, and debauched in their Manners, they will sink under their own weight without the Aid of  foreign Invaders."

We are on the threshold of willingly surrendering our liberties as the progressive movement has entrenched its freedom-destroying ideology into every facet of American life.

Will we totally surrender, thus allowing the millions of men and women who have died or been injured serving us and past generations to have died in vain or will we have a small amount of their courage and stand up for what we know is right?
