Do Liberals Now Make the DHS List of Potential Domestic Terrorists?

November 22, 2010

Immediately after assuming office in January 2009, the Obama administration moved swiftly to identify all military veterans and political conservatives opposed to left-wing policies as “extremists” and “potential domestic terrorists” in a Department of Homeland Security Report - strictly on the basis of dissenting political viewpoints and written by left-wing race-baiting organization the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Yet almost two years and hundreds of Tea Party (right-wing) events drawing millions of citizens later, there has been no sign of violent tendencies within the political right. The same cannot be said of the political left…

As reported by Gateway Pundit writer Jim Hoft - Leftist hero, Kennedy Award Winner and Pulitzer finalist Ted Rall is calling for a violent socialist revolution in America.

Rall’s outrageous call to arms is directly quoted in the report –

“We are here because the U.S. is going to end soon. There’s going to be an intense, violent, probably haphazard struggle for control. It’s going to come down to us versus them. The question is: What are you going to do about it?…

A war is coming. At stake: our lives, the planet, freedom, living. The government, the corporations, and the extreme right are prepared to coalesce into an Axis of Evil. Are you going to fight back? Will you do whatever it takes, including taking up arms?…”

There has been no similar outburst or call to take up arms from any Tea Party or We the People event I have ever seen. So why do Tea Partiers make the DHS Potential Domestic Terrorist list and anti-American leftist nut-jobs like Rall, go unmentioned?

Rall gets even more specific about the fellow Americans that he considers to be enemies of the socialist movement which has permeated every facet of American society for over seventy years.

“The millions of partisans who follow Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, and right-wing televangelists happen to be the best-armed people around, and they despise just about everyone who doesn’t think and pray like them. They will see collapse as affirmation of their beliefs that secular liberalism is destructive. They will also see it as an opportunity to create a new, ordered world atop the ashes. They will act to stop teenage sluts from getting abortions, teach n*ggers a lesson, and slaughter those spics, dots, and everyone else who doesn’t fit into their vision of what and who is right…

I want to kick people in the a**. To get them thinking. To get you thinking. I want you to understand the situation—your situation. I want you to see that revolt is a good idea, and that it has never been more necessary.”

In any other circle, Rall’s statements would be considered “incitement to riot” at a minimum and a violent threat of militant civil war would not be an overstatement.

Does Obama’s DHS now have >Rall on the potential domestic terrorist watch list, like libertarian commentator Chuck Baldwin? I don’t think so…

MSNBC host Dylan Ratigan is even promoting >Rall’s call to arms. Is MSNBC still wondering why the nation sees the network and a radical left-wing propaganda machine? Leftists have to communicate with their mindless sheep via cartoons, yet they see themselves as world class elites?

In a recent MSNBC debate over the wrist slap of left-wing host Keith Olbermann’s secret funding of left-wing politicians, MSNBC news guru Lawrence O’Donnell admits that he is not just a progressive or liberal, but rather a socialist, just like his many leftist friends who much prefer less accurate titles like Democrat, liberal or progressive, as if there is anything at all progressive or liberal about socialism.

Frustrated by his comrades’ lack of backbone, O’Donnell tells the nation that they are all socialists, even those without the backbone to admit it.

Meanwhile, attending a Tea Party rally is enough to cost two law enforcement officers their jobs, in of all places, Texas - where Police Chief Jack Schultz and Sgt. Johnny Beckett were fired Oct. 20, according to internal documents obtained by NBC-DFW using the Texas Open Records Act.

As reported - The termination notices obtained indicate the duo’s involvement in the Tea Party was considered “prohibited political activity” under the city’s employee personnel policies manual. The mayor said the men spoke and advocated against the city council and supported a petition against the mayor as part of their participating in the party.

But what about the thousands of taxpayer funded government employees under SEIU who have worked through ACORN and the Black Panthers on behalf of the left-wing agenda, all paid for by American taxpayers just like the police officers?

And since when does any American citizen give up their constitutional right to free political speech, assembly and redress when they accept employment? Or is it that only left-wing political causes and anti-American ideas fall under constitutional protections today?

Has Rall had a visit from the FBI or Secret Service asking questions about his public call to violent revolution yet? Is O’Donnell being investigated as a subversive agent seeking to destroy the constitutional republic and erect a new socialist form of government in America?

Olbermann was suspended for not clearing his Democrat donations with MSNBC powers in advance. But MSNBC has no problem with O’Donnell’s public admission that he is a socialist, which means he’s a subversive to the U.S. Constitution?

Do angry leftist college students at Berkeley make the DHS potential terrorist list after destroying public and private property in response to increasing tuitions? How did the Obama administration handle Black Panthers caught on film threatening voters in Philadelphia in 2008 and 2010?

To suggest that Obama’s DHS has a severe double standard might be the understatement of a lifetime.

But this story keeps getting worse… Lawyers for the Barack Obama administration told a federal judge Monday that the U.S. government has authority to kill U.S. citizens whom the executive branch has unilaterally determined pose a threat to national security.

From the report –

"The full contours of the government's position would allow the executive unreviewable authority to target and kill any U.S. citizen it deems a suspect of terrorism anywhere," CCR attorney Pardiss Kebriae told IPS.

"As the government would have it, while non-citizens detained at Guantanamo Bay can challenge the deprivation of their liberty by the United States, a U.S. citizen could not challenge an impending deprivation of his life by his own government."

So, if you attend a Tea Party, you can make the potential domestic terrorist list, maybe even be fired from your job, get a visit from the FBI or Secret Service, share your email and phone calls with NSA or even be killed if Obama thinks you are a threat to national security, based upon your constitution opposition to Marxism in America.

But if you are a left-wing nut-job calling for armed revolution against Rush Limbaugh fans, you are safe from Obama’s wrath.

Can you name what country you live in today?
