A Real Public Health Crisis
August 11, 2014
While the country agonizes over two Ebola virus patients’ return to the U.S. under highly sophisticated quarantine conditions, we have tens of thousands of illegal immigrant children dispersed throughout the country, carrying unknown and untested for diseases.
Public health workers in the detention centers, ignoring government threats of imprisonment to not say anything, report that aside from lice, chicken pox and scabies, there is clear indication that some of the children harbor tuberculosis. More frightening is that antibiotic resistant strains of tuberculosis are becoming endemic in the Central American countries these children are coming from.
This is not only a danger to the well children housed in holding camps, but to communities across the country where the children are being dispersed, held by “family” members, or the majority who escaped the system by not returning for scheduled hearings.
While Department of Homeland Security first opined that there is no problem, they now claim all the children are being thoroughly tested before release.
Do you believe that, considering the history of lies emanating from this organization? Does it make any difference since thousands of children have disappeared before DHS admitted there might be a problem?
Once again we are faced with serious negative unintended consequences, which are the direct result of the unilateral decisions of President Obama. Nothing is being reported about the potential public health crisis.
Certainly each and every child should be quarantined, deloused and tested for communicable diseases before they are mixed with our children in our schools.
