The Senate Democrats are Raising a Big Stink

The President Trump has chosen a conservative to fill the vacancy on the Supreme Court. The Senate’s so-called Democrats are screaming, "Boycott, boycott, we ain’t going to show up, we ain’t going to do our job, we ain’t going to follow the Constitution or Bill of Rights." The Democrats of the United States Senate are behaving like a bunch immature brats, who are not getting their way, wah, wah - try growing up. Instead of fulfilling their positions as the deliberating body of the U.S. government, and following the Constitution, the Democrats are displaying an utter contempt for the Constitution.

We have had to listen to the incessant whining of Senator Schumer fabricating constitutional rules out of thin air, and Speaker Pelosi’s babbling. Senator Schumer is a perfect example of the tactic of "say anything, do anything, and flat out lie to make a point." The level of dishonesty exhibited by the socialist left of the Democrat Party is off the charts, as compared to previous Supreme Court choices. From the beginning of the Trump Administration, it has been attack after attack, or as the propaganda media is reporting every story, "It’s a bombshell, it’s a bombshell," when it’s really a dud.

True to form the Democrats are suffering fits and having anxiety attacks over President Trump’s pick for the Supreme Court. Federal Judge Amy Coney Barrett has been chosen to replace the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, and as usual, the left can’t handle anything connected to President Trump. The Democrats are lining up their circus acts to oppose Judge Barrett, when she appears before the Senate Judiciary on 12 October 2020. The attacks on her and her family are ratcheting up with the central objection centered on her Catholic religion.

The Constitution is very clear on this issue, there is no litmus test, or valid questions to be asked about someone’s religion. Yet, Senator Diane Feinstein challenged Judge Barrett when she was appointed to a Federal Judgeship, said the (Catholic) dogma was strong in her (Barrett). So-called celebrities and leftist of all stripes are attacking her religion as if it is a disqualification. This is a continuation of the socialist war against religion, they will tell you what you can believe. Religion has always been a target of the socialists, they can’t tolerate anything they can’t control.  

Every election and political appointment, we hear the mantra of the left, no one can touch Roe vs. Wade on the abortion issue and no one can touch same sex marriage. Every Republican appointee has been subjected to scrutiny on these two sacred cows of the left; now we have the addition of a challenge to a person’s religion and how religious are they. A person’s religion is not supposed to be questioned, but since when have the socialist Democrats ever let rules or laws get in their way, laws are for everyone else.

The leftists have consistently claimed any involvement of religion in government is a violation of the separation of religion and government rule. The United States was founded on Judeo-Christian principals, the separation of religion and government refers to a mandated religion, one required by the government. Iran is a perfect example of a government-required religion; violate their rule and you may pay with your life. For the socialists their religion is communism, it is where you worship the government. To use religious principals and references in the U.S. is perfectly legal and correct. It is who we are, where we accept the right of the people to worship in the religion of their choice.
