Thank You President Bush

THANK YOU PRESIDENT BUSH

A new website has been launched that contains a simple, non-political, thank you note to President George W. Bush.  The letter was written on 9/11/2008 and it thanks the President for his seven years of keeping the" country safe.  It is written in the first person and acknowledges the fact that the country has not been attacked in seven years. The site provides the ability for individuals to sign the letter. Just a few days after the site was published there were already 300 signatures. Tell your friends about this great idea.

Here is the text of the letter that will be sent to President Bush:

Dear President Bush:

Thank you for all you have done to protect me from danger. It has been seven years since my country was attacked and thousands of our countrymen were killed.  Words cannot express my appreciation for the way you have handled one of the largest crises the country has ever faced.  I know that you are not working alone to keep me safe, but as commander-in-chief, I could not have felt more secure with anyone other than you at the helm.  Thank you for being a man of integrity, morals, selflessness and love for your fellow man.  You are truly an inspiration.

God bless you and thank you from the bottom of my heart!
