The Left's War On Freedom

Does the Left learn from history? Believe it or not, the answer is, yes. The problem is that they learn from all the worst examples.

It’s amazing and more than a little disconcerting that in the best and last bastion of freedom, America, the extremist and now far-left Democrat party has garnered the support of nearly half the country. It makes one wonder if those who actually cast a ballot for them truly know what they stand for. 

It only takes a quick review to see that they are taking the majority of their ideas and rhetoric from three of the 20th-century's worst and most virulent abusers of human rights: Germany, Russia, and China.

All of those nightmare regimes banned books, enforced “political correctness,” and threw their enemies into "re-education” camps for not following the party line, all of which the Democrats are advocating.

Another corrosive thing they did was to use their extremist zealots as teachers to brainwash children in their propaganda-based schools, where they were taught to spy on their parents and report them for anything they said or did which did not conform to the party.

Sound familiar?

For instance, during Mao’s Cultural Revolution:
Are we close to this, or are we as many think, already there?

All you have to do is to look at what is happening every day in our schools, courts, entertainment and of course…our ‘media.’

In fact, you need merely observe the hideous Democrat political machine and their media puppets to see them follow Mao’s roadmap to tyranny each day as they persecute their enemies, who consist of everyone who still dares to think for themselves. And of course, they can’t allow that to get in the way of total iron-fisted control. Thus, just like Lenin, Hitler, and Chairman Mao, they send their minions out to..."shame and condemn them in public. The guilty were forced to recant in “struggle sessions,” during which they were mocked and humiliated...” (1)

If this is not a carbon copy of the same methods used in those freedom-crushing regimes it is certainly getting too close for comfort - and we know from history that repressive regimes don’t heal themselves.

We took down Hitler through force of arms but Russia and China are still going strong. And oddly enough, you don’t see Democrats, who are trying to the same thing to the United States, lining up to emigrate there. I wonder why?

But make no mistake - just because they are not lining up to become someone else's slave does not mean that they would not be delighted to make you theirs.

So what can we do?

We have to do something that won’t be fun or easy if we don’t want to tread those grim paths that lead to concentration camps as they did for millions before us.

We must engage every Democrat we know and educate them on where cancel culture, reverse racism, censorship, and forced conformity lead to.

We must show them that once these evil regimes silence their enemies they start to turn on their friends, until all power, wealth, and privilege is held by a tiny minority at the top and everyone else is reduced to mindless, helpless, and hopeless drones existing only to serve the party and its masters.

We must ask them if they would like to have our country turn into China, or Russia, or Cuba, or Venezuela, and then show them the historical parallels that the Democrat policy mirrors.

We must help them to see that if they keep voting for Democrats and supporting censorship and cancel culture, it will not only destroy their own freedom but that of their children and grandchildren for generations to come.

We must ask them why they support a party that is dedicated to the destruction of the Constitution that has protected the rights of all Americans, not just the privileged few, for the past two centuries.

We must reach out to do all of this because while conservatives know and study history, Democrats don’t. And even worse, all those under the age of 30 have been educated by a Marxist system that not only lies, twists, and censors facts but is so brainwashed that often today's teachers are not even able to separate leftist facts from fiction.

So we must do all of this as best we can because even a little bit of truth to Leftist lies goes a long way.

Most of all - we must do it quickly because we’re running out of time.
