American Cities, Fooled and Embarrassed

April 3, 2023

Since its inception in 1956, Sister-Cities International, a non-profit diplomacy network, is about bringing people of different nations together. Its mission statement reads in part “Citizen Diplomacy.” This is achieved through exchanges, events, and programs in the arts, culture, business, trade, youth, education, and community development.

The Sister-Cities Organization was used to find favor with American cities by the United States of Kailasa, which cannot be found on any map.

Sister-Cities' mission is to build global cooperation at the municipal level, through interpersonal relationships and cultural understanding. It is meant to overcome language barriers, dissimilar backgrounds, and beliefs, and share common interests, through the power of “personal connections.” There can be little doubt that the essence of the Sister-Cities agenda is highly praiseworthy, and its reputation is without blemish. Any attempt to tarnish its standing in the world among nations, would be a despicable injustice. But then we are not perfect beings and sometimes things can go wrong.

Whenever you think of someone who holds a position in government, you tend to think the individual has a modicum of intelligence, and that they have the capacity to think clearly and make sound judgments. They may not be scholars, have degrees from prestigious universities, or have a membership in Mensa, but hopefully they have a scintilla of common sense.

Regrettably, however, there are times when due to negligence and lackadaisical attitudes, things can go terribly wrong. And those who we expect to be conscientious, and deal with important matters like Sister-Cities, do so with some assurance of competence and trustworthiness. Sadly when it counts, they for whatever reason fail at their responsibilities. What makes this especially disappointing is when those in charge are just as negligent as their subordinates.

The city of Newark is the largest metropolis in the state of New Jersey and is governed by progressive Democrats. City officials established a Sister-Cities relationship with the United States of Kailasa (USK). According to its creed, it is a nation dedicated to honoring the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism Paramahamsa Nithyananda, who considers himself a “god-man.” There is just one problem; the United States of Kailasa does not exist. The Supreme Pontiff is a fugitive from justice, charged with rape and child abduction.

Some believe this attempt to establish a Sister-Cities status was to bring legitimacy to the cult’s cause, and to also recruit new followers. One politician, on condition of anonymity, expressed his concerns, “There may have been no cash exchanged, but there could have been meals and hotel rooms paid for. Who knows what could have happened? We invite these people over, oblivious of their intentions, and they could end up recruiting people in our city.” Cult deprogrammer Rick Alan Ross tended to agree, “Most likely he (Supreme Pontiff) wants to raise his profile in the United States to recruit people.”

To make matters worse, Newark, New Jersey is not alone among American cities in being hoodwinked by USK. Add to the list Pomona, California, Richmond, Virginia, and Delaware, Ohio, also acknowledged, in one form or another, this band of cultists. Congresswoman Norma Torres (D/CA) was deceived by the group, and explained through a spokesperson, “The certificate of special congressional recognition was given to a local congregation by a former staffer. Upon learning of the very serious and credible allegations against their leader, our office promptly rescinded the certificate.”

To take this fiasco to even greater heights of absurdity, prior to learning the truth and facts, the United Nations unwittingly provided USK with a platform to present itself as a valid entity; this right however has since been revoked.

What occurred reveals the incompetence and laziness of all the parties involved. It begs the question, did someone, anyone, bother to do their homework and investigate the United States of Kailasa before it made fools out of supposedly intelligent people? It was quite simple to do. All that was necessary was to search on the internet for The United States of Kailasa, and you would find several entries, which reveal no borders, no geographical presence, therefore, there is no such place on the face of the earth.
