Governmental Corporatism Continues Its Assault Against The Second Amendment

In this column last week, I reported the good news out of the State of Tennessee, how the Republican State legislature beat back a barrage of anti-Second Amendment attacks (including from Tennessee Neocon GOP Governor Bill Lee) and refused to pass any new gun control laws, most especially the draconian Marxist Red Flag gun confiscation law proposed by Lee.

Then I reported how Joe Biden signed a Stalinesque gun control Executive Order banning the private sale of firearms at gun shows.

The socialist/fascist/Zionist/globalist elites know that the only thing standing in the way of their demonic goal of world domination is America’s Second Amendment. 

Take away the Second Amendment and the commitment of millions of Americans to maintain fidelity to their God-given right to keep and bear arms, and this nation would fall into the hands of the wicked global elite like ripe fruit.

Should that happen, you will kiss your cash goodbye. You will say goodbye to your freedom to travel, your freedom to work without a government license, your freedom to worship in an unlicensed government church, your freedom to own private property, your freedom to redress government, your freedom of speech, your freedom of independent thought - even your freedom to nurture and educate your own children.

The “woke” agenda that dominates the governmental/corporate world has already started the process of claiming authority over America’s families and their children. In California, courts have ruled that the state can remove children from their parents if the children are said to want to “transition” and their parents are against it.

The California State Assembly on Friday approved a bill redefining the health, safety, and well-being of children to include “gender identity or gender expression.” Critics say it will enable the state to seize children who have “transitioned” without the approval of their parents.

Assembly Bill 957 was adopted with a vote of 57-16 and sent to Governor Gavin Newsom for signature. It amends Section 3011 of the Family Code to “include a parent’s affirmation of the child’s gender identity or gender expression as part of the health, safety, and welfare of the child.”

Family courts use the health and well-being standard to make decisions as to which parent gets custody of children in divorce disputes, or in cases in which parents have their children taken away by the state due to abuse or neglect.

“That is our duty as parents, to affirm our children,” State Representative Lori Wilson, a Democrat from the San Francisco Bay Area, said in a speech on the Assembly floor. 

State Senator Scott Wiener, a fellow San Francisco Democrat, co-sponsored the bill. He was behind the 2022 ‘trans refuge bill’ which gave immunity from other states’ laws to minors seeking ‘gender-affirming care’ in California. (Source)

Lose the Second Amendment and the rest of everything that makes America America would fall like dominoes.

On the heels of the freedom victory in Tennessee, the governor of New Mexico signed an emergency order banning the open or concealed carry of firearms in and around Albuquerque for 30 days.

New Mexico State Representatives Stefani Lord (R-22) and John Block (R-51) called for the impeaching of Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham (D) after she issued a public health emergency to strip the right away for law-abiding citizens to carry firearms in public in and around Albuquerque, the state's largest city. 

"This is an abhorrent attempt at imposing a radical, progressive agenda on an unwilling populous [sic]. Rather than addressing crime at its core, Governor Grisham is restricting the rights of law-abiding gun owners," Lord wrote in a press release shared on X. 

On Friday evening, New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham (D) issued an emergency order suspending the right of law-abiding citizens to open and conceal carry firearms in crime-ridden Albuquerque and the surrounding county for at least 30 days, after declaring a public health emergency in response to a spate of recent gun violence. (Source)

I guess Grisham naively believes that the tens of thousands of hardened criminals, drug addicts, convicted felons, drug cartels, and street gangs that are pouring through the wide-open southern border are going to stop and politely say, “Yes, Ma’am,” and give up their guns and automatically become model New Mexico citizens because of her order.

This governor is a moron! And a dangerous moron to boot. By disarming the good citizens of New Mexico, she has made them all easy targets for every hoodlum, gangster, criminal, and drug dealer in the State.

Fortunately, many freedomists within various State agencies are refusing to acknowledge or submit to Grisham’s stupid order.

Federal lawsuits, cries for impeachment,, and outside protests.

Democratic New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham said she would welcome a fight after announcing an emergency order to suspend the right to carry firearms in most public places around Albuquerque. That’s exactly what she’s getting. 

Since she issued the 30-day public health order on Friday, a furor has rained down from gun owners, state Republican lawmakers and civil rights advocates. Even some in her own party questioned the move.

The sheriff who oversees the county that includes New Mexico’s largest city, Albuquerque, vowed Monday not to enforce it, joining the county’s top prosecutor, and the Albuquerque mayor and city’s police chief.

“It’s unconstitutional, so there’s no way we can enforce that order,” Bernalillo County Sheriff John Allen said during a news conference. “This ban does nothing to curb gun violence.”

In addition, New Mexico Attorney General Raul Torrez told Grisham she is “on her own.”

In a very pleasantly surprising turn of events, New Mexico Attorney General Raul Torrez has informed Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham that he will not defend her or her administration against any of the several lawsuits brought forward against her regarding her illegal and unconstitutional order banning the permitted open and concealed carry of firearms in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Torrez said in his statement what we all knew and continue to know from the very beginning, that he believes that it would not pass constitutional muster. 

It is very encouraging to see the numerous people, especially those from the left side of the political aisle, publicly stand up and affirm the illegality of Grisham's orders. It's even better when the state attorney general, who is a registered Democrat, tells his boss that, in no uncertain terms, she messed up and messed up bad enough that he won't defend her in court. (Source)

Then there is the Liberty Safe Company. As with so many major corporations, Liberty Safe has joined in with the tyrannical anti-Second Amendment forces in government against the freedoms of the American people.

Here is this story:

Liberty Safe willfully granted the FBI backdoor access to one of its customers’ gun safes because the federal law enforcement agency demanded it.

“The feds called the manufacturer of his Liberty Gun Safe and got the passcode to get into it, too. All for protesting at the Capitol over 2 1/2 years ago,” conservative YouTubers the Hodge Twins alleged in a post on X on Monday.

Nathan Hughes, the 34-year-old owner of the compromised Liberty gun safe, was arrested at gunpoint and charged last week with one felony and three misdemeanors related to his presence in the U.S. Capitol building on Jan. 6, 2021. During the raid on his home, the FBI ransacked his house and attempted to confiscate the firearms from his safe.

Liberty confirmed on Tuesday that it gave the disgraced federal law enforcement agency a combination to break into Hughes’ gun safe simply because the FBI produced a warrant to search Hughes’ home.

Safe companies like Liberty are not necessarily required to comply with law enforcement requests for combinations to break into one of their purchased products unless a court orders them to do so.

Not all gun-safe companies readily hand over access to their customers’ products, even if law enforcement demands it.

A spokesman at Ft. Knox, a national gun safe and vault company, told The Federalist his company would only divulge safe combinations to law enforcement if a court specifically ordered it or a search warrant specifically named his company. He reiterated flatly that his company would never do what Liberty did without a court order.

So, if you own a Liberty Safe, your valuables are not nearly as safe as you thought they were, and the Liberty Safe Company is not nearly the friend of Liberty and the Second Amendment as you thought they were.

In other words, don’t buy a Liberty Safe! Buy one from Ft. Knox, for instance.

If the last three years taught us anything (and they taught us MUCH), they taught us that Big Business and Big Government are in bed together plotting and implementing the attempted destruction of our liberties.

During the COVID scam, almost every major corporation in the country became nothing more than government lap dogs. Two of the worst were Costco and Walgreens. But they were all in on it.

Then the “woke” agenda comes along, and Bam! - Anheuser-Busch and Target get out front and lead the charge.

Now, the Liberty Safe Company has joined America’s version of Empire Stormtroopers in attacking our Bill of Rights. 

Only one institution has the power to successfully fight back against the demonic trifecta of the government/corporate/media juggernaut. That institution is the Church.

But on the whole, the Church has become the fourth branch of the anti-freedom trilogy: It is either totally and thoroughly uninterested, unconcerned, and unmotivated to help provide even the slightest resistance to the antichrist takeover of America or, in some cases, is actively assisting that takeover.

Freedom carried the day in Tennessee. Now it is the State of New Mexico that is in the crosshairs of the anti-Second Amendment tyrants.

The truth is: Every freedom-loving adherent of the Second Amendment needs to stay extremely vigilant and be prepared to protect and defend the Amendment that protects and defends your liberties, because there is not a State, county, or municipality in this country that does not have pockets of rabid anti-Second Amendment zealots in government and business who, just like the snakes they are, are just waiting to strike.

Make no mistake about it: Governmental corporatism is continuing its assault against our Second Amendment.
