Anyone Can Be Angry - That Is EasySeptember 25, 2023“Anyone can become angry, that is easy, but to be angry with the right person(s) and to the right degree and at the right time and for the right purpose, and in the right way; that is not within everybody’s power, and is not easy.” Aristotle You can push the American people only so far until something snaps; well it has, and they're angry. They’ve now come to realize that complacency and remaining uninvolved is not an option, and is an open invitation for agents of chaos and disaster, the modern secular Left, to cross the threshold and impose their agenda. We can just about pinpoint the time when the movement came to fruition, and the people stood up and shouted out, “No more!” It began several years ago at a school board meeting in Fairfax County, Virginia; a turning point in the culture war took place. Mothers and fathers came together and confronted the board, expressing their concerns and misgivings about a questionable curriculum and activities. One of the fathers came forward, visibly angry and agitated; he told of how his daughter was sexually abused in a girl’s restroom by a transgender female - a biological male. There was a raucous outburst and the police were called. Parents, especially the mothers, have organized and created movements to confront and challenge the agents of chaos, and their pet projects - unrestricted abortions, LGBTQ+ identities, transgenderism, sexualized school curriculum, gender-affirming policies, drag queen story hour, and critical race theory are in part the modern secular Left's effort to indoctrinate the children of America into their lifestyle. Among the movements is a relatively new contingent to the ranks of the forces in the culture war. Moms For Liberty is a group of concerned Americans of school-age children fighting for parental rights, and traditional values and institutions. Their agenda is to promote and enhance these rights, especially in education. Founded in 2021, when a group of conservative women came together, the impact of Moms For Liberty is growing, and their collective voice has drawn both praise from their supporters, and accusations of homophobia, transphobia, and intolerance from their detractors, especially from the LGBTQ community. The original agenda of the Moms, which has since expanded, was to engage the COVID-19 closing of schools and doing remote learning. This past July the Moms held a “Joyful Warriors” summit in Philadelphia at a Marriott Hotel. Members of the homosexual activist group Act Up, who are not above violence, protested prior to the summit, and demanded the Hotel cancel the event. The event was held, but not without a backlash; activist protestors held up signs, and engaged in vulgar gestures and insulting rhetoric toward the Moms For Liberty. Mother, the heart of a family, loved, respected, cherished, and when you bring a group of them together, they can be fierce, outspoken, and demanding, especially when it involves their children. Moms For Liberty and their impact have incurred the wrath of the modern secular Left and their enablers in the media and education. The Moms have created an obstacle in the path of the Left, making it difficult to impose their deviant agenda. They have become a powerful group, and this has placed a target on the Moms; they have been threatened and slandered, and attempts to tarnish their reputation are a constant given. So intense is the anger and vindictiveness against Moms For Liberty, that the Southern Poverty Law Center, a radical far-left organization, has placed Moms For Liberty on their “Hate Map,” and labeled them an extremist group. Moms For Liberty is one of number of similar conservative groups, but is the most prominent. These concerned mothers have become the enforcement arm of traditional American values, the nuclear family, and are watchdogs of education. They stand defiant and strong in the culture war. We should applaud them, and support their motives and agenda.
