Lost In Space Or The Twilight ZoneHarris gets voted in...say goodby to NASA and Military.By Bob McCray August 26, 2024
Back in June of 2024, NASA and Boeing put the Starliner spacecraft into orbit, docking with the International Space Station (ISS), delivering astronauts Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore to the ISS for a visit of a few days. Unfortunately for the two astronauts, coming home as scheduled didn’t happen, as their spaceship is broken. The Thruster Control System shut down on their approach to the ISS; they were able to bring 5 of the 6 thrusters back online and the docking was completed. It was also determined that four helium leaks existed in the capsule. This is beginning to sound like a script for the Twilight Zone. Simply put the astronauts are stranded in space on the ISS. According to NASA, there is no panic and their engineers are working on the problems. This is not one of those “Failure is no option,” moments; there is a competitor putting spaceships into orbit all of the time. NASA and Boeing need to swallow their pride and ask Elon Musk to send a Space X Dragon Capsule to the ISS and rescue the stranded astronauts. Space X has sent multiple capsules to the ISS with crews and on supply missions. At the moment we do not know how much politics is driving the rescue of the Starliner and its astronauts or if it is stubborn pride. It was stubbornness and politics that led to the Challenger Space Shuttle explosion. With the FAA constantly interfering with Space X launches in Texas, it is safe to say, Elon Musk is not on the Democrats' Christmas Card list. NASA’s future, much like the U.S. Military, is flapping in the breeze. If Obama’s puppet Kamala Harris is elected, we will see the utter destruction of NASA and our military. Obama will have Harris finish what he started when he shut down NASA and cut the budget of the military, during his time in office. It seems every time the so-called Democrats get into power, NASA and our military suffer. The only people who benefit as usual are the Communist Chinese and Russia.
