The 10 Commandments - What Part Don't You Understand?

It comes from the cloud.

December 2, 2024

For some reason, the Democrats in the State of Louisiana have an issue with the Ten Commandments. After Gov. Jeff Landry (R) signed into law the requirement to hang a poster-size display of the Ten Commandments in every public school room, opponents consisting of the usual bad actors of the ACLU, Americans United for Separation of Church and State, and the Freedom from Religion Foundation, found a judge that put the law on hold.

The people who stand against the law by claiming separation of church and state, are highly misinformed or simply using that as an excuse in order to act against religion. The Constitution is built on our Judeo-Christian founding of the United States. The separation of church and state refers to theological controlled governments like Iran, which allows for only one specific religion and the church runs the government.

The United States does not specify any one religion and does not prefer one religion over another. To reference the Judeo-Christian foundation of our country, to offer prayer, or offering Bible classes in a school should not be an issue. Posting the Ten Commandments as presented by Moses, a figure who is recognized by multiple religions, the Commandments are a foundation of our laws and should not be opposed.
