Protesting, Violence, Looting, And The Middle East On FireJune 23, 2025The debate over illegal immigration and the Trump administrations response intensifies. It didn’t take long for malcontents, the credulous, and the anarchists to take to the streets and disrupt and threaten the lives of federal agents and the American people. On Saturday, June 7 (2025), in Los Angeles, California, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement/Ice agents and other federal agencies conducted a raid on suspected illegal migrants outside a Home Depot in Paramount, California. Federal agents in riot gear and using flash bang grenades and tear gas canisters were confronted by hundreds of protesters attempting to impede the apprehension of the migrants. The LAPD was overwhelmed, and the chief of police would later admit this to be the case. As the protesters became more unruly and violent, Tom Homan, the Director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, issued a statement “We’re going to bring the National Guard in tonight, we're going to push back on these people, and we’re going to enforce the law.” The Governor of California, Gavin Newsom, accused the federal government of “sowing chaos as they can have an excuse to escalate.” The clash between federal agents and protesters intensified. President Trump, frustrated and growing impatient with the governor struck out on Truth Social “If Governor Gavin Newsom of California and Mayor Karen Bass of Los Angeles, can’t do their jobs, which everyone Knows they can’t, then the Federal Government will step in and solve the problem, RIOTS & LOOTERS, the way it should be solved!!!” Protesters, some wearing helmets and face masks, threw rocks, Molotov cocktails, bricks, and pieces of cinder block at ICE agents. They rampaged through the streets, burning American flags, waving Mexican flags and those of other nations. They set cars, including police cars, on fire, disrupted and stopped traffic on freeways, and on an overpass, threw chunks of cinder block down onto police cars below. Responding to the protest, Vice President Vance commented, “Insurrectionists carrying foreign flags are attacking immigration enforcement officers, while one-half of America’s political leadership has decided that border enforcement is evil. President Trump federalized the California National Guard in defiance of Governor Newsom and Mayor Karen Bass, who appeared hesitant and timid, not wanting to upset the protesters. On Sunday, June 8, in the early morning hours, 500 Guardsmen of the 2000 ordered by the president arrived in Los Angeles; their duty was to guard federal facilities. Following this, the president responded to the actions of protesters spitting “They spit, we hit, and nobody’s going to spit on our ICE agents, police officers, nobody’s going to spit on our militaries.” The President again spoke out on Truth Social, “Our Nation’s ICE Officers have shown incredible strength, determination, and courage as they facilitate a very important mission, the largest Mass Deportation Operation of Illegal Aliens in History. Every day, the Brave Men and Women of ICE are subjected to violence, harassment, and even threats from Radical Democrat Politicians, but nothing will stop us from executing our mission, and fulfilling our Mandate to the American People." As night fell on the city, looters emerged from their dark holes and went about their nefarious deeds; they broke windows, stole whatever was not nailed down, and left destruction in their wake. Protesters gathered outside the federal facility in South Los Angeles where migrants are held. The National Guard was there to defend the facility. The streets of major American cities have been set ablaze by the dregs of society, like marauders rampaging, threatening, and destroying, while the Middle East is at war and is also on fire. President Trump will have to make one of the most important and life-changing decisions of his presidency; drop the bomb or continue to attempt a diplomatic solution with Iran. And let us not forget, there is still a war in Eastern Europe. It is a sad commentary that in the midst of all this mayhem, the president must divert his attention and contend with domestic terrorists who, it would seem, couldn't care less about the rest of the world. With all this mind, every now and then someone comes along who possesses the ability to test the people's resolve and conventional standards, like the president. But there is another rebel, a breath of fresh air, Florida Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey. The Sheriff held a press conference recently, where he outlined his department’s response in dealing with potential protesters. Note the difference between what you’re about to read and the political class in California. The Sheriff made it abundantly clear in the policies he has enacted in dealing with any potential protester who decides that peaceful is not the way. He also noted that peaceful protest is welcome and "part of our democracy," and that peaceful protesters will “enjoy the protection of law enforcement.” But "if you resist lawful orders, you're going to jail. Let me be very clear about that. If you block an intersection or a roadway in Brevard County, you are going to jail.” The Sheriff continued. “If you flee arrest, you are going to go to jail tired because we are going to run you down. If you try to mob-rule a car in Brevard County, gathering around it, refusing to let the driver leave, in our county, you're most likely going to get run over and dragged across the street. If you spit on us, you are going to the hospital and then jail. If you hit one of us, you are going to the hospital and jail and most likely, get bitten by one of our big, beautiful dogs. If you throw a brick, a firebomb, or point a gun at one of our deputies, we will be notifying one of your family members where to collect your remains at, because we will kill you, graveyard dead. We're not going to play."
