The NEA Teacher's Union Show Their True Colors

Finally, the National Educators Association Teachers' Union have dropped the pretense of concern for the students they are supposed to educate. The largest teachers' union in the U.S. has declared itself as a left-wing political organization. The NEA’s 2025 teacher of the year, Ashlie Crosson, announced that her job is “deeply political” at the 4^th of July annual meeting in Portland, Oregon. She continued, “Once I realized how deeply political our profession had always been, I knew I could no longer stay on the sidelines.” 

Resolutions called for the teachers' union to fight President Trump’s “embrace of fascism,” by misspelling Fascism as ‘Facism.’ So much for spelling. They called the shutting down of the Department of Education an “Illegal, antidemocratic, and racist attempt to destroy public education and privatize it in the interest of the billionaires."

The resolutions continued, to “defend birthright citizenship and oppose the attempt to revert to pre-civil rights movement – Jim Crow - legal concepts of ‘states' rights’ in order to deny citizenship to the children of immigrants.” Additionally, they called for supporting students' “right to dissent and organize against Trump’s policies,” as well as “against ICE raids and deportations.”

The NEA has stepped outside the purpose of education of students and has moved into the indoctrination of students in socialist principles. The NEA also took exception to the recent Supreme Court ruling, giving parents control over their children. Parents have the right to pull their children out of “Gender Classes,” while the NEA made it clear they will continue to push that garbage in the schools.

The NEA needs to be shut down, for they are a threat to all of the students they pretend to care about. This is the same indoctrination method used by Communist China and all other socialist countries. Their goal is to indoctrinate all students in the Communist Principles of Karl Marx, which will turn the children toward the state, and against their parents; this is the mental abuse of minors.
