Merry Christmas And Happy New Year!

In a season of hope and celebrations, when many faiths observe their beliefs, we hear the constant drumbeat of hate, the same one used by Adolph Hitler and his NAZIs. This week, a radical Islamic father and son attacked a group of Jews gathered at Bondi Beach, Australia. People who had gathered as they have in previous years to light the first candle of Hanukkah, were gunned down by the two terrorists, leaving 15 dead and many others wounded. 

Over the past few years, we have seen a major uptick in anti-Semitic attacks around the world. Most were by people who support the HAMAS Palestinian terrorists, much of this is an outgrowth from universities and colleges. Jewish students have been targeted and attacked, and this was completely ignored, if not encouraged, by the Biden Administration. 

The October 7, 2023, attack on Israel by the HAMAS terrorists from the Gaza Strip was the green light to HAMAS supporters to openly go public with demonstrations and attacks on the Jews. Unfortunately, this has happened in other parts of the world. The United Nations should be a bastion to prevent this type of hate from spreading. Instead, many in the UN are supporting HAMAS and openly push to isolate the State of Israel. 

The German public stood by and allowed Hitler’s street thugs, the SA Brown Shirts, to attack Jews and Jewish businesses. The few who objected were quickly silenced. This was followed by the Nuremberg Laws, which barred Jews from holding professional jobs and from holding civic positions. Jews were then forced into ghettos and later into the death camps. 

The hate that has been directed against the Jews must be stopped in its tracks. If this hate is allowed to continue, it will consume everyone, and it will not stop on its own.
