The Second Coming Of Christ – The NarrativeFebruary 16, 2026Most people choose to ignore the Second Coming prophecies of the Bible. Those who ignore these prophecies think they have an endless amount of time. When these events begin to unfold, they will suddenly and regretfully realize that for them, time has run out. “And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.” - Matthew 24:30 Abraham Lincoln said, "You cannot escape the responsibility of tomorrow by evading it today." A narrative is a spoken or written account of connected events according to its definition. Those who deal with theology and biblical truth usually use scripture verses and passages to connect the events of the Second Coming of Christ. But here, for these purposes, we will just tell the story. For those who glibly bypass this story, it's the same old drivel: monotonous, severe warnings, and terrible events. It's just easier not to listen. But for those who love God and love His Son, it is best described in the old hymn written by prolific songwriter Fanny Crosby: Tell me the story of Jesus, write on my heart ev'ry word; tell me the story most precious, sweetest that ever was heard. For twenty-one years, I have endeavored to declare my fifty-year study of eschatological doctrine, or what is quite simply called the Second Coming of Christ. I filled the pages of my website for these 21 years with messages of my dreams, my visions, my work, my understanding of scripture, and that of other journalists, preachers, and prophets quite well qualified to do so. I also included descriptive articles on historical milestones and current events—all part of fair warning. Prophetic Convergence – when the whisper becomes a roar. The days we live in are the days Jesus spoke of, but more importantly, they are part of the great doctrine of prophetic convergence. It's not complicated. Quite simply, it means that when you see all of the signs spoken of by the prophets and by Jesus and his apostles converging in one generation, in one short period of a few years, you are the generation that Jesus spoke to when he said the following words: “So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.” - Matthew 24:33-34 It would be easy to say, "Don't look now," but this time is upon you. Yet in reality, not many are looking now. So here's another effort for you to take a look at in narrative form. I bumped into some guy, but I didn't know who he was. We start by repeating the warning that Jesus gave: most people wouldn't recognize a prophet if they bumped into him in the street. He said, "A prophet is not without honor, save in his own country, and in his own house." Not many people know who the prophets are, and even the biblical prophets are complete unknowns to most people. There are a number of definitions for a prophet, but some cannot be overlooked. We say that our preachers and our evangelists could be prophets, which to some degree is true. Yet the calling of a prophet is when God intervenes and speaks directly to them. How does He do this? There are several ways: sometimes He speaks directly to you, sometimes in a dream. (My own calling came in a dream, and some years later God told me in the English language that I was a prophet.) God has only spoken to me a few times openly in English. Most of the time, it was through dreams, visions, and scripture. When He did speak to me in the English language, I had already been having dreams and visions for several years, and the effect of them frightened me somewhat. I always saw the future as it happens. I never needed to interpret what I saw. I didn't have to go buy a book of dreams. I didn't turn to local charismatic internet sites and see what people were saying. The Internet – A Slippery Slope. Unfortunately, when I did peruse internet sites and books written by prophecy “experts,” I saw that a lot of dreams were goofy little dreamettes and things that required constructed meanings. They had to make up a story of what it really meant. I often found those stories a little bit silly, if not outright ridiculous. But when God speaks to me, He doesn't show me a dream I have to interpret. He shows me exactly what is going to happen. It is, as I've always said over the years, a full-color preview of the exact events as they are going to come down. Thank You, Charles Dickens. The first time God spoke to me in a prophetic dream, He took great care to show me that He was both willing and fully capable of showing me the future. He did that by giving me three dreams in one night. The first dream was obviously my recent past. I thought nothing of it. The second dream was the present day I was in, and the events that were taking place in my life at that time. Again, I thought nothing of it. In the third dream, there I was doing things I had never done before. I was on the dock, walked onto the deck of a giant ship, and sailed away. I thought it was just a dream. In less than two weeks, I was notified that my papers to become a commercial mariner were ready, and I had a job waiting. I had never been to such places before. I couldn't figure it out. I was about to go back to sleep, but just before I did, I said a little prayer and asked God, "What does all this mean? What are these dreams and, most important of all, could you help me understand what the last dream meant?" God seemed to turn my attention to one of my favorite all-time movies, Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol." At first, I thought, "What kind of answer is that?" But suddenly I remembered the one aspect of A Christmas Carol that's impossible to miss - the spirits of Christmas Past, Christmas Present, and Christmas Future. From that, I made a deduction. No, it's not E=mc², but it clicked in my brain. All of a sudden, it occurred to me that I saw these dreams in three different time periods. If one was past and one was present, wouldn't it follow that the last one was future? That's when the Holy Spirit fell on me, and I knew that God was providing me with firm and solid confirmation. Yes, you hit the nail on the head. Approximately one week later, every event in the third dream happened to the letter. Happily for me, I didn't need three dreams anymore to believe God had spoken to me. I suppose it's fortunate for God, too. Why waste His time? A self-appointed prophet – you can only wish. I am not self-appointed; in fact, all I ever wanted to do in life was perhaps teach school. I never would have thought God would call me to such a life. I'm no Jeanne Dixon, Edgar Cayce, or Nostradamus. I'm just a man that God chose to speak to. I have always believed that anyone who says God speaks to them, prophet or not, is probably just a little loony. Why would I accept that for myself? Just remember that my number one source of all God's counsel is the Bible - the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of the Living God. The Bible is my litmus test, my foundation, my rock upon which I stand. It is my test of all revelation given to me or anyone else. I have never doubted that all extra revelation is meant to be merely supplemental, not substitutionary. I can only wish that you were not spiritually deaf. The odds are not any greater for me than for any other preacher or prophet. My prophecies have been and will be, till the end of time, mostly ignored. I know this because in my calling, when God was speaking to me, He warned me that only a few would come out of the world and find their place in the Kingdom of God. Also, one of the mightiest visions I ever had of the Second Coming of Christ had words in it that weren't God's. They were a resounding cry coming out of the earth from the people across the entire globe, admitting that they were not ready, and they were not believing that He was really going to return - until they saw Him bathed in the glory of God descending from the eastern skies, and they knew the time had come. It was fair warning to me, but it is a doubly fair warning to you. Best of Archives Series – It Wasn’t God’s Voice I Heard – It Was Yours. Not running for office, but I have an excellent platform. The Lord has given me a platform to speak to all people, largely in the United States, not just a group of Christians. I have preached over 3,000 sermons in my lifetime, and I'm still preaching. But the prophecy ministry is far and away the deepest and the most important part of my life and ministry. Online now for 21 years, I have been showing the world the way the world is going. It causes me great grief to know that not many are wising up. I'll not waste my time vilifying the people of our generation, but it is safe to say your time is nearly up. Don't run away in fear and say this man is predicting the end of the world. I'm predicting only the end of the world as we know it and the beginning of another one. Under the Lord Jesus Christ, all power is transferred to Him forever. This world has a time stamp on it. The Lord's Kingdom will never end. What will that Kingdom look like? Read the article below, first published in 2005. Best of Archive Series – Is the Second Coming of Christ the End of the World? Before charging ahead on the narrative of what's about to happen to our world, let me remove the idea that there is a distinction between the United States of America and all the rest of the world. In Bible prophecy, there is no distinction. In fact, you have to really strain your interpretation to show any absolute positive indication that America is specifically and distinctly mentioned in the Scripture. Prophecy about the nations includes America, but it never singles out the U.S. The United States has many problems. I could write several articles on those problems, and I have over a 20-year period. It suffices to say that one of the biggest problems we face in the United States of America is two-fold. We can see the answer or the solution to this big problem through one formula provided to us by the scriptures. Some people call it "Trump Derangement Syndrome." Others give it its more appropriate name, which is Trump-hatred. Besides being a terrible example to the upcoming generation of what Americans are caught up in - hatred - is this all we have time for? The problem this creates is twofold. Number one, it creates a climate for demonic intervention. This writer certainly doesn't care whether you can't differentiate between mental illness and demonic activity. We can assure you that there is a lot of each in our country and our world today. But demons look for fertile ground. Hatred is the number one soil test for demonic interference, intervention, and possession. Number two: By hating even just one man, in this case, Donald Trump, we are pushing ourselves out of the will of God. We're being openly defiant and evil, and we can't even pretend that we know God, that we love God, that we worship Him, or that we even, in the most basic sense, have respect for God. How can we say this for certain? It's as simple as this powerful verse found in 1 John 4:20: “If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?” None of us have to agree with everything that President Trump says or does, but all of us are indebted to show him common and decent respect. This is God's rule, not mine or religion's, and to disobey it openly is hurting our nation more than anyone can understand. For the rest of the world, here's the picture in a nutshell. The political upheaval that you see around the world today will continue. It will not stop. If it does, it will be only a momentary illusion of peace, not the real stuff. Let's keep in mind that when the world speaks of peace, it often means just a lack of war. That's not what the peace in the Bible is all about. It's both a lack of war and a calm, steady, loving relationship between the people in our communities and in our nations and throughout the entire world. Out of the confusion, several things will arise: a single world religion combining Christianity, Islam, Catholicism, Buddhism, and every other faith - lock, stock, and barrel. Next will come the long-predicted revelation of the man we refer to as the Antichrist. He is a political and military genius who has all the available wisdom of this world within him. Why? It's very simple. He has the entire spirit of the god of this world in him - that, in case you're not sure, is Satan. Just as Jesus had the entire Spirit of God in Him, and we say because of that He was God incarnate, this man, you might say, is Satan incarnate. He will readily prove who he is once he has full control over the whole world. The Bible is quite clear: he ends up ruling every nation, tongue, and tribe. Rather than warfare, he uses the economy to lasso all the nations of the earth. His economic system will be fully welcomed throughout most of the earth. Those who refuse it will do so at the risk of their very lives. At first, he is satisfied to be a great ruler in the eyes of everyone, but his ego knows no bounds. Soon, he tries to present himself to the world as divine. He is mocking Christ, mocking God; he is mocking us, but we can't see it at that confused time. He probably helps to rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem, because it is there that he presents himself to be the Messiah, the long-awaited Messiah for the Jews and the Savior of the Gentiles. He will be attractive because, unlike the meek and lowly Jesus Christ, he will be a powerful ruler able to persuade entire sections of the globe and all the nations to comply with everything he tells them they should do. When he presents himself in the temple as God, Jesus said that would be called the abomination which makes desolate. But it's not a magic curse. It is the marker by which God enters the history of man. Jesus Christ appears in the eastern skies and begins to judge the world in righteousness. According to scripture, over one-third of mankind's eight billion people in today's population die. Many judgments go forth, and the whole messy thing ends with the worldwide earthquake that topples every major city in the world. Christ is then installed with the people He brings back with Him: the dead resurrected. He and they rule this earth and rebuild it for one thousand years. There will probably be new centers of civilization. I don't think most of the older cities will be used, but no one can actually answer that yet. He rules it in peace and harmony, and it is known as the Millennial Kingdom. After this, Satan, who has been bound for a thousand years, is let out for a little while. All these people who had it made for a millennium, some of them say, "Oh! Let's take it all back." They encompass the camp of the saints, which is Jerusalem, and God doesn't even bother to battle with them. He decides it's finished. He sits on a great white throne. He judges the quick and the dead, the living and the dead, and then we are taken to the new heaven and the new earth. That's the narrative. That's the story, but for you, a different path could be chosen. Turn to Jesus Christ today, confess your sins, and give your life to Him, and you need not enter into the troubles that are about to befall everyone in the world.
