America’s Red Summer Is Coming

The American Revolution was preceded by “A Great Awakening,” which also happens to be the title of a new film that gives meaning to America’s 250^th birthday by highlighting our nation’s Christian heritage. But the enemies of America have other ideas.

Analyst Travis Karnes has published a new report, “America’s Red Summer,” examining what may be in store for the United States as the push for replacing President Trump takes to the streets and how Red China and Red Russia plan to take advantage of the chaos. The remnants of the Iran regime, doing the bidding of China and Russia, are still waging war on America. 

A cursory examination of what is planned reveals the following:

• With the war over Islamist Iran underway, federal authorities are bracing for the activation of terrorist sleeper cells by the remnants of the regime.  
• More “No Kings” protests are planned for April 25 to oppose President Trump’s immigration control policies. This “National Day of Action” is designed to stop the construction of ICE detention centers. The Indivisible group, given more than $9 million in grants from Soros’s Open Society Foundations since 2017, is the sponsor of the “No Kings” rallies.
• “This May Day,” says the Democratic Socialists of America, “we are not just marching - we’re demonstrating our power. Join us for a mass day of action where workers, students, and communities unite to demand justice, dignity, and a world beyond capitalism.”
• On May 1, the Satanic Temple plans to hold its own event called the Satanic Revival in Baltimore. 
• Also on May 1, Linda Harvey reports that the National Education Association and others are spending millions to train activists to stage May Day (May 1) anti-ICE, Marxist events at schools.
• More assassinations are planned against conservative and Christian figures, even President Trump. In this context, the assassination of Charlie Kirk, a supporter of President Trump, could be replicated on a national basis by members of the trans or “gay” communities as Kirk’s killer, Tyler Robinson, a gay man in love with a trans person, goes on trial for murder. 
• The new left-wing pope has been engaging in personal attacks on President Trump for his war on Iran and his immigration policies. A photo of his participation in an anti-Reagan nuclear-weapons protest in 1983 has surfaced as well. But where is his condemnation of Iran’s pursuit of nuclear weapons?

Sadly, the Catholic League and Catholic scholar Dr. Paul Kengor are defending Leo, with Kengor insisting that Leo is a conservative Republican and “never has been” liberal. I challenged that claim in my interview of Kengor on my YouTube channel.

President Trump had said, “Leo should get his act together as Pope, use Common Sense, stop catering to the Radical left, and focus on being a Great Pope, not a politician. It’s hurting him very badly and, more importantly, it’s hurting the Catholic Church!” 

There is pushback, in particular among conservative Catholics, over Pope Leo’s woke criticism of the Trump Administration. The revolt is such that Leo’s ability to speak with the authoritative voice of the Catholic Church is being questioned.

Carlo Maria Viganò, who was excommunicated by Pope Francis in 2024, after refusing to recognize his legitimacy, has issued a statement saying Leo “is not speaking as a pope but rather as a standard-bearer for anti-Trumpism, so to speak,” and challenged him to expose the untouchable “dogmas” of the radical Left.

Rather than attack Trump, the pope and his bishops should take a stand against Satanism.

The American Catholic group, TFP, standing for Tradition, Family, and Property, has launched a petition against the May 1 “Satanic Revival” event in Baltimore. But it had also sponsored a protest of a planned “satanic black mass” by the Kansas City-area group Satanic Grotto in Topeka, Kansas, on March 28, 2025, but failed to receive backing for the protest from official church authorities.  

A local group has asked Baltimore Archbishop William Lori to lodge an official protest over the Satanic Revival event. However, his credibility is shot. His archdiocese has gone into bankruptcy over sexual abuse scandals and lawsuit payouts to victims.

Regarding the upcoming “Red Summer,”  communists point with glee to a 2025 CATO Institute poll, which “revealed the extent of this radicalization among the youth,” according to one Marxist group. It found that 62% of 18 to 34-year-olds had a favorable view of socialism, and 34% have a favorable view of communism.

The sponsor of the poll, the libertarian Cato Institute, commented, “This is shocking given that communism is responsible for 100 million deaths worldwide and is rooted in socialism, the same philosophy that spawned both Mussolini’s fascism and Hitler’s National Socialism.”

The communists cite the notorious statement by Karl Marx, the father of communism, who said, “The Communists disdain to conceal their views and aims. They openly declare that their ends can be attained only by the forcible overthrow of all existing social conditions. Let the ruling classes tremble at a Communist revolution. The proletarians have nothing to lose but their chains. They have a world to win.”

Nationally, groups seeking to destroy America’s capitalist system include the Democratic Socialists of America, the Party for Socialism & Liberation, Workers World Party, Communist Party USA, African People’s Socialist Party, Freedom Road Socialist Organization, Socialist Unity Party, Spartacist League, Revolutionary Communist Party, and the Party of Communists USA.

Pushback is also coming from Charlie Kirk’s organization, Turning Point USA, which says it is now working with more than 1,450 college chapters and over 3,400 high school chapters across the country. 

Meanwhile, to guard against America’s enemies abroad, the Department of War is requesting $1.5 trillion for fiscal year (FY) 2027, marking a $445 billion, or 42 percent, increase from the Pentagon’s FY 2026 funding level. That involves the enemies abroad, not necessarily the enemies within.

In another sign of progress, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth revealed that the Boy Scouts of America, now known as Scouting America after undergoing a DEI transformation, had agreed to review and replace its “politicized, divisive, and discriminatory language” that has been used throughout the programs and the organization. The group has a partnership with the DoD.

In response, however, communists view the “No Kings” protests as “tactics in a deeper strategy for November” that includes taking control of Congress and then impeaching Trump and removing him from office. 

Will another “great awakening” take place in time to save America? Not if it is left up to Pope Leo and his apologists.
