Changes...Be Prepared!By Paul Hayden July 20, 2026NOTE TO ALL OUR READERS: Do you know anyone who might be interested in furthering the purposes of this publication, CONSERVATIVE TRUTH? I am interested in passing along the mantle of Publisher to someone else - Lord willing! It will take the right person, and good circumstances, as I will not let this go casually or easily. I would love to see it be around for as long as necessary - until the whole world is filled with the TRUTH! I know that I will not be able to keep doing this forever. I would love to see this vision and effort continued as an expression for furthering the spreading of TRUTH to the people of our country and the world. So much has changed since Tom Barrett began this publication in the year 2000, around the infamous time of the “hanging chads” of the Bush-Gore election! I have been helping with the editing of this publication for ten years now, since December 2016, and have been the owner/publisher after Tom's passing in late 2021. I trust that God will help us find just the right person and situation for CONSERVATIVE TRUTH. I would love to see someone who has a burning fire in their heart, a love for God and Jesus, and a deep desire to know and love and share THE TRUTH with the world. Nothing too big! Yeah, right!!! Please give this some thought, and feel free to share this with anyone who might be interested, or get back to me with any ideas. There is no limit to what God can do with any person who loves God with their whole heart, totally given to His love and truth. Changes…everything changes. Always. Sometimes expected, sometimes a surprise. It could be for the better, or sometimes things can get worse. Part of life is learning when to anticipate the changes that are coming, or even precipitate them. If you can do nothing about the changes, then you simply have to participate, or just watch it all happen, and maybe react. I am anticipating some changes in my own life. I am getting older. Nothing specific right now, but I know I will not live forever. We are not promised any number of days here on this Earth! And I am extremely thankful to be alive, and to have the life that I have. I am reminded of the motto that has been taught to over a hundred million Boy Scouts - “BE PREPARED!” The motto itself contains nothing specific, but is just a reminder to be ready for whatever comes. Living life in an awareness mode, you learn about things that might happen, the frequency with which they happen, and the timing of when they might happen. In the Midwest, you know there will be snowstorms, so you might need a shovel in the car - but not in July! GOD BLESS US ALL!
