Surrender our Liberty for a Little Security?

All sane people agree that safety must be a major concern in this day of Muslim terrorism, but the fools, fanatics, and fascists have taken control at various levels of government. A virus seems to have infected people in power: it results in a loss of common sense, self-respect, modesty, and gratitude for the privilege of working for the American people.

Just the thought of a stranger, even one with a badge, gun, and in uniform running his or her hands up a ladies’ dress (“until resistance is reached”) or grabbing a man’s genitals is indicative of the spiritual, mental, and political condition of the American public. Moreover, it is staggering that any sane person would defend such molestation of anyone especially helpless children.

Janet Napolitano (who has her job because of her support for Obama) says that we must put up with this “inconvenience” for the sake of safety, but that is outrageous. Moreover, it is not an inconvenience but a power grab by the U.S. Government. For a TSA supervisor to say that we have a choice not to fly is appalling, arrogant, and asinine. Americans have a right to travel (not a privilege) without being harassed, hassled, or humiliated by Federal thugs. Federal thugs need to be reminded that we pay their salaries, and they are not being paid to irritate, intimidate, and insult innocent people. That does not go with the badge, gun, and uniform.

TSA employees cannot plead, “I’m just doing my job.” That has been tried before. It is astounding that most of the TSA people have not refused to obey the illegal orders to molest people. It seems no one has any shame anymore, not Obama, Congress, TSA employees, or the bulk of American citizens who are so docile to permit the goosing, groping, and grabbing.

The Federal Government is empowered by us, the states. The feds are not God and did not give us our rights. Government employees are to protect our rights or be thrown out of office. Janet Napolitano refuses to protect our border with Mexico but wants to run her hand up the legs of my granddaughter! She is an idiot--but then I insult idiots out there. Sorry.

The Israelis have an excellent record dealing with terrorists but don’t see a need to grab a man’s privates or a woman’s breasts. I have been to Israel many times and have been searched at their airport and various borders without ever feeling violated. They search and use the wand very effectively and passengers appreciate their thoroughness without being humiliated and insulted.

No American should even consider putting up with scanners that clearly display their private parts or permit strangers to feel them and molest them in the name of safety. I think when that happens, the offended person should scream “rape” or “Help, police.” I would probably then shove the molester across the room, then I, the innocent person would be arrested! The loons have taken over our Federal Government from the very top to the very bottom.

We are at war with Muslim extremists, not pilots, nuns, children, and elderly. Sane people are incredulous as they see innocent citizens tyrannized while Middle Eastern appearing passengers walk onto the planes. Has the world gone crazy? Everyone admits that 99% of air travelers are not dangerous yet the vast majority must put up with the humiliation, hassle, and harassment, etc. Why not stop all Muslim and Middle Eastern people and thoroughly screen them? Permit the innocent ones to go on their way with an apology and some coupons from the airline for the inconvenience. Leave little Susie and grandma alone. Someone is going to be angry: why shouldn’t it be those more likely to be the terrorists?

Can anyone imagine our founding fathers permitting such molestation in 1790 before entering a federal building? I see Patrick Henry as he visits Washington and is patted down before entering a federal building! Or Andrew Jackson? Or any of the early leaders? The thought is breathtaking yet here we have a U.S. President and Congress defending such criminal, unconstitutional, tyrannical treatment of our citizens!

Just how much freedom are we required to surrender for some safety? What comes next? There are some of us who say, “Enough is enough. I’m not taking any more from jerks whose salary I pay.”

If Americans don’t wake up and rid themselves of the yoke of oppressive freaks, fanatics, and fascists, we are setting the stage for Washington Gestapo to require travel permits when we leave our home area, check points along the Interstates, ad nauseam.

Ben Franklin was correct when he said, “Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.” I am not willing to give up my liberty for some temporary safety.
