While Obama Schemes to Repeal US Constitution, Russia Invades Ukraine

Poor Barack Obama. These days our vacation-weary warrior is rushed off his feet, what with desecrating America’s immigration laws and appointing himself dictator of US Climate Change policy.

Throw in some Missouri race riots, an Ebola pandemic, the IRS scandal, and Israel’s assault on the poor folks of Hamas in Gaza, and you are left with a president who barely has time enough to golf more than 36 holes a day!

Somehow, we trust that BHO will squeeze in a respectable level of high crimes and misdemeanors, even if he has to work out the details on the fairways between holes.

Meanwhile, the world moves on as if Obama does not even exist, which is mostly wishful thinking. As reported, Vladimir Putin has decided to take advantage of Obama’s retreat from the world stage to rearrange a few things in Ukraine:

MOSCOW — Asserting that Russian soldiers and armaments had crossed into Ukraine to support the separatists, President Petro O. Poroshenko of Ukraine canceled a trip to Turkey on Thursday and warned his national security council that a panicked response would only further destabilize the situation.

“Columns of heavy artillery, huge loads of arms and regular Russian servicemen came to the territory of Ukraine from Russia through the uncontrolled border area,” Mr. Poroshenko said at the beginning of a meeting of the Ukrainian Nation Security and Defense Council in Kiev.

Mercenaries, along with regular servicemen, were trying to overrun positions held by the Ukrainian military, he said, according to a statement on his official web site.

“The situation is certainly extremely difficult and nobody is going to simplify it,” Mr. Poroshenko said. “Still, it is controlled enough for us to refrain from panic.” Panic could be used as a weapon just like tanks, armored personnel carriers and rifles, he said.”

Once again, Barack Obama has proven that he lacks not only the judgment and integrity to be president, but also lacks the courage to stand and be counted.
