Godfather Politics in the White House?

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu leads the international campaign regarding sanctions against Iran.  His opinion differs from that of President Barak Obama.  Majority Leader John Boehner invited Netanyahu to speak before Congress.  The White House threatened there would be a price to pay if Netanyahu accepted. The Prime Minister Accepted.  President Obama’s team went to Israel to settle the score.     

The severed horse head was carried by Jeremy Bird, Obama’s 2012 Campaign Field Director.  He leads the “Anyone but Bibi” campaign, working with the One Voice organization to defeat Netanyahu on March 17th.   One Voice Movement was formed in 2003 by Gary Gladstein the former COE of the George Soros Management Fund. It is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit, and it lists the U.S. State Department as a partner on its website. 

Bird also controls Victory 15.  He recruits young activists in a huge social media network, “The voice of mainstream Israelis and Palestinians”. They receive funds from the U.S. State Department, and claim to be non partisan. 

At the grassroots level, Bird organized a team called 270 Strategies, made up of former Obama staffers that are training local Israeli’s in the anti Netanyahu campaign. 

Obama’s Democrat operatives are hip deep in Israel’s election, meanwhile the National Security Council spokeswomen claims “…We do not see heads of state or candidates in close proximity to their elections, so as avoid the appearance of influencing a democratic election in a foreign country. “ 

Liberals assert that Vincent Harris, CEO of Harris Media equates to what the Obama contingent are doing.  Harris has worked for Speaker Newt Gingrich, Senator Ted Cruz, Governor Rick Perry, Senator Mitch McConnell, Governor Mike Huckabee, Senator Rand Paul, and more top of the line Republicans. Months ago he was hired by the Lukid Party.  American strategists have worked on Israeli elections for decades. However, the roles of Bird and Harris are as similar as pepperoni pizza and peach pie. 

Senator Ted Cruz, (R–Texas) and Congressman Lee Zeldin (R–New York) sent a letter to Secretary of State John Kerry asking whether U.S. taxpayers are funding political efforts in Israel to remove Prime Minister Netanyahu from office; specifically referring to Victory 15 and One Voice. 

Israeli press voices concern about a foreign nation interfering in their government, and funding to topple Netanyahu.  Israeli 1994 campaign finance law prohibits foreign contributions to parties and partisan political campaigns.

Former President Bill Clinton dispatched James Carville and a group of Democrat specialists who managed to defeat Benjamin Netanyahu and elect Ehud Barak in 1999.    Barak’s party was fined $3 million for taking illegal foreign money in the election. 

Foreign campaign intervention in Israel is perilous. The outcome will affect the entire world.
