The Fundamental Transformation

Right before our eyes, America is being fundamentally transformed. For all the statist actions of our current president, the moral collapse that has already taken place in our country, and the economic monster that is now rising up to devour us, the invasion of so-called “refugees” and illegal aliens could likely transform our country faster than anything else.

Take a gander at headlines on one particular day last week:  “Kerry: USA to Take 200,000 More Refugees;” “Four Out of Five Migrants are NOT from Syria;” “Cubans Flocking to America;” “114,000 Tennessee Immigrants Now Eligible to Vote;” “Candidates Campaign at Mosques, Interview in Spanish;” “Surprising Uptick in Children Entering Illegally in August.”

While the invasion of illegal aliens across our southern border poses a threat to our economic system, threatening to collapse our system under its sheer weight- think crime, federal welfare, the health care system, and the education system- the threat coming from overseas threatens our culture in a much more defined and dangerous way.

Congress, having long ago abdicated its Constitutional duties, no longer regulates the number of immigrants that comes into America (see my column, on this site, of June 15, 2015), leaving us with the Wilsonian Progressivism method of rule by bureaucrats; therefore, Secretary of State John Kerry arbitrarily picks a number out of his head and that becomes the number of immigrants allowed onto our shores. Instant American immigration policy. Governing is easy when you don’t have to worry about pesky legislative bodies.

The fact that these invaders- migrants, they have been termed- are Muslim is an important factor, but truth be known, any people who do not assimilate easily and who have a different value system are a threat to our culture of liberty. It’s not a Muslim thing. On the other hand, the differences of cultures are amplified by the political system that is hidden under the religious layer of Islam. Islam is a religion that encases a political and legal system. It is indeed a religion, but it is much more than that.

Underneath the layer of religion is a system that is misogynistic, autocratic, brutal, conspiratorial, and anti-intellectual. The political system ensures that only men have a voice and that women are little more than pets. Sins are punished with brutalities of the Ancients. Failure is the result of a vast conspiracy against their religion. Education is okay for boys- girls, too, in some Muslim countries- but propaganda accompanies the education.

When political asylum seekers come to America, usually they are people who crave freedom and appreciate what America represents. They are willing to assimilate. Throughout the Western world- with exceptions- Muslims have shown that they are not keen on assimilation.

As others have noted, Saudi Arabia and other Muslim nations have not shown a willingness to take in the refugees. After the Saudis offered to build one mosque for every 100 refugees Germany takes in, the veil was lifted on the true opportunity that Arabic Muslims see. Even though the Saudis are not in league with ISIS, the chance to spread Islam’s tentacles throughout the West is inviting to “the religion of peace.” It’s the Islamic version of not letting a tragedy go to waste.

Whether this flood of Muslims into Europe is a legitimate flight from war or, as the terrorist organization promised they would, an ISIS-orchestrated forced migration to help slowly conquer the West is irrelevant: either motive has the same result.

One point is missing from Secretary Kerry’s “200,000 more refugees” comment, which would encompass a two-year span. We already accept over 100,000 Muslims a year, so that would nearly double our intake of the Muslim population for two years.

If all this sounds anti-Muslim, let us put the matter delicately- there are, after all, a lot of weak and delicate people in our society these days:  If someone wants to be Muslim, that is their business, but the political and legal system we know as Islam is not compatible with the Constitution and American justice. That it also encompasses a religion fools many Americans into believing that this gives Islam a legitimacy that it does not deserve on our shores.

Arabic Islam- in other words, Islam as practiced by the descendants of those who established the system- is an enemy of liberty, plain and simple.

America is being fundamentally transformed, but the rate of transformation will jump exponentially if we do not recognize, and then act upon the recognition, that populating our land with people who live in opposition to our free society is nothing short of suicidal. Unless Islam goes through a tremendous reformation, which would take many decades, it will never be compatible with our way of life and system of government. To pretend otherwise is to fail to understand what America is and represents.
