How the Power of Ten Will Change the World

What do John D. Rockefeller, Henry Ford, Oprah Winfrey, Kim Kardashian, TD Jakes, and Billy Graham all have in common? They were practitioners of the Secret Power of Ten. Since the dawn of creation, God has hidden miracles inside of principles. This truth remains to this day.

Over the next few minutes, we are going to take a journey to discover and deploy a Kingdom principle that could change the course of not only your destiny but this entire generation.

Did you know Dow Jones is at an all-time high, yet church donations are trending at an all-time low? It’s true. Conservative Christians are only giving at 2.5 percent per capita, but during the Great Depression, they gave at a rate of 3.3 percent.

It’s no surprise that today the church has become a social club for the struggling Middle Class. We have gotten away from what made us great in the first place.

Practicing Kingdom principles that activate Kingdom promises.

Scripture encourages us to practice the ancient secret Power of Ten. This is the act of giving 10% of our income to our local church. When we do this with the right spirit, God applies his supernatural math.

You see, many people operating with a poverty mindset believe giving money away is throwing it away. They view giving as: 100% - 10% = 90%. This is logical math. But if you try to figure out tithing or the Power of Ten mathematically, you will be stumped. If you believe, you will receive much more than 10 percent in return. It may show up as cash, or in new people, ideas, and opportunities that appear in your life supernaturally.

Today, I want to encourage you in the tithe. When we give with expectation and faith attached to our offering, the Power of Ten is activated. With that comes three promises.

The Power of Ten Activates THREE Financial Promises

1) Provision (Malachi 3:10)

"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it."

2) Protection (Malachi 3:11)

"I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not drop their fruit before it is ripe,” says the Lord Almighty.

3) Penetration (Malachi 3:12)

“Then all the nations will call you blessed, for yours will be a delightful land,” says the Lord Almighty.

Faith is the currency of the Kingdom. Remember, when you give by faith, it activates the possibility of supernatural provision, protection, and penetration in your life.

But there is so much more at stake than even our own personal finances. When the church awakens to the Power of Ten, we will not only experience personal blessing, we can be the conduit of Heaven to earth to change the course of generations.

If the local church’s rate of giving went from 2.5% to the full 10% I’m proposing, we would accumulate…

• $25 billion that could relieve global hunger, starvation, and deaths from preventable diseases in five years.

• $12 billion for eliminating illiteracy in five years.

• $15 billion to solve the world’s water and sanitation issues, (specifically at places in the world where 1 billion people live on less than $1 per day.)

• $1 billion that could fully fund all overseas mission work.

• $100 – $110 billion for additional ministry expansion.

This is how God has always intended to bless his leaders, prosper his people, and release his goodness in the earth. The question is…
