There is a New Curtain Descending on America
But it's not iron...it's Blue.

We all remember the Iron Curtain of the Cold War that took the rights from millions in eastern Europe. But now we’re seeing another group of power-hungry socialists gleefully trying to erect their own totalitarian curtain of arbitrary and draconian rules. And it's not happing in Eastern Europe, Russia, or even China.
No, sadly, it's right here in America. And it's led by the socialist party that used to call themselves Democrats.
Only this time the curtain is not one of iron - it's Blue. And the petty bureaucrats who control states, cities, and counties with a Democrat majority have used a national tragedy to lockdown their fiefdoms behind a Blue Curtain of petty and vindictive laws and regulations.
If you are unlucky enough to live in a Blue State controlled by Democrats (and full disclosure - I am) you are probably experiencing the naked power grab as they use the tragedy of the virus as a dress rehearsal for the way they would love to govern if they could ever achieve total control.
Each succeeding day, week, and month that passes, instead of working with citizens and business to reopen and restore personal liberty, they instead look for new ways to disempower and abridge the constitutional rights of the citizens under their control - using those tried and true methods right out of the communist playbook.
As totalitarian, Socialist ‘Wannabes,’ the Democrats have more in common with the former Soviets, Politboros, and KGB than they do with freedom-loving Americans.
Lest we think that it is only the Democrat politicians who love the prospect of controlling other people's lives, we must remember that someone elected these pompous charlatans to office in the first place.
Anyone who lives in a Blue state or any Democrat-controlled town, city, or county has certainly asked the question, “Who actually voted for these idiots?”
It would be comforting to think that most Democrats were elected by voter fraud and ballot-box stuffing. And while that has been a time-honored tradition of that party, the are sadly millions of our fellow citizens who vote for them.
Well, again I would call your attention to some of the most egregiously repressive regimes of the past century. Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy, Communist Russia, China, Cuba, and Venezuela - all socialist totalitarian societies.
What do they all have in common?
None of them could have worked without a large percentage of the population who preferred totalitarianism and oppression to freedom and democracy. After all, it was those members of their societies who enable the state repression.
Thus it is not only naive but dangerous to think that just because we live in America we don’t have millions of little stool pigeons and petty persecutors waiting in the wings - just aching for some tiny morsels of power to allow them to spread the misery and frustrations in their own hearts to others.
The new buzzword for them is: ‘Karens.’ You know, that woman who is always complaining about everything and wants ‘to see the manager!’
As PJ Media puts it: 'Contact Tracing' Jobs Create Terrifying Army of Karens (1)
Can you imagine this in the America of fifty years ago… or even twenty years ago?
But that was before we had nearly 50% of the population brainwashed by an anti-American socialist education system and monolithic DNC controlled media/entertainment cabal.
That’s why in all of those unhappy countries I mentioned; Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy, Communist Russia, and China, not to mention Cuba and Venezuela, the first thing the would-be dictators and deep state denizens did was ensure total control of the entire media/entertainment complex. And outside of a few remarkable exceptions, this is what the Socialist/Democrats have been able to do here.
So now we are for the first time, able to experience for ourselves, the fruits of their labor as they test the waters to judge our capacity to be ruled by decree and fiat issued by state and local governments.
The one thing we should be thankful for is that this is, for the moment, a dress rehearsal.
They are still wary of freedom-loving Americans who jealously guard their constitutional rights. And while they know that their Democrat sheep will willingly follow and enthusiastically support their dictates they are still a bit queasy about the non-Democrat Americans who have not taken well to tyranny in the past.
That is why they have ramped up their Deep State and DNC controlled media cabal into a daily tirade of hysteria to attempt to cower and frighten the public into subservience.
But as in the past, Americans don’t scare easily and so far it is only their sheep who have joined the mob calling for increased government control.
The rest of us…not so much.
So the big takeaway for us as Americans, who are used to having our Constitutional Rights and freedoms unabridged, is to take heed from this as the Democrat dress rehearsal and a warning to be watchful, wary, and ever vigilant - and never allow - as too many countries have in the past - a Blue Curtain to descend on Liberty!
