Blacks, Racism, and Blame

[The following is from a post on Facebook. It deals with a different view of racism than is often heard these days. These are the views and thoughts of the writer, and are not necessarily those of the staff of Conservative Truth.]

There's no group that does more harm to Blacks in America to hold them back, to suppress them, to keep them out of mainstream, to tear apart their families, than Black people do to themselves. White cops aren't killing thousands of Black people each year, other Black people are killing thousands of Black people each year. White people aren't telling Black kids they can't succeed, other Black people are telling them that "white people" won't let them succeed. The belief that you can't succeed or that "someone" won't let you succeed is poison to anyone's success.

The only thing systemic about racism in America is what Black people systematically do to their own people. And the most fearsome weapon they use is the obsession with what white people might be doing to them. The KKK has been reduced to a collection of scattered groups of misfits with no power other than what noise they can make, but by and large most Black people still fear them. No self-respecting white person would ever admit to belonging to such a group, and we almost universally hold them in derision and contempt. They have absolutely no power whatsoever, other than what power Black people (and Liberals who want to feed the fear) hand to them.

Black people have allowed a single word to contain so much power that any white person who utters the word instantly brings fear and anger to any Black person who hears it, yet the power of that one word comes solely from the minds of the Black people hearing it (who, ironically, often use it to refer to themselves). Without the obsession by Black people that word would have long vanished into the obscurity of anachronistic terms like "livery stable" or "yonder."

Crime is a direct result of a lack of fathers in the home. There's a higher crime rate in the Black community because there are fewer fathers in Black homes. Are there white people forcing Black women to have kids out of wedlock? Admittedly, the welfare check is what the Democrats replaced their previous tools of ropes and burning crosses with to destroy the Black family, but all they had to do was offer it; it has always been within the power of the Black community to reject the poison and encourage stable families.

The "evidence" of "systemic racist" exists because Black people allow it. Until they stop blaming white people and realize the power, potential, and promise that each and every Black person has, they will be in chains of their own making, holding the key while blaming everyone but themselves.

But that's the plan the Democrats had all along. They knew the potential the Black community had in impacting this nation FOR GOOD. They knew that there's a strength and power within the Black communities earned by hundreds of years of suffering from slavery. They knew that unless they poisoned that community, there would be unleashed upon America a demographic so dynamic, so powerful, so focused on serving the God that gave them the strength to survive, that another Great Revival would seize the land and their plans for turning the nation into subservient sheep would be foiled. So like a poisoned apple, they handed out welfare checks and turned the growing giant into a festering mess.

But that giant is still there, which is why Democrats fight so hard to maintain the illusion of systemic racism. As long as Democrats can keep Black people afraid of the boogie man of racism, they can distract them from their true potential. Unchained from irrational fear, as a group, Black Americans could manifest more power than either political party. But to do so they'd have to abandon their fear of imaginary klansmen behind every bush. They'd have to toss aside the selfish demands for reparations, and see themselves as fellow citizens equally deserving and equally within reach of the promise of success America offers to every citizen. They'd have to drop the idea that somehow, someway some faceless "white man" is keeping them from succeeding and enjoy the true "privilege" they now falsely call "white privilege" which is nothing more than the ability to accept your own failures and weaknesses as your own, and work to overcome and conquers them. The road to true success is paved with miles and miles of failures, and if someone can convince you that they aren't your failure, but actually someone else "oppressing" you, then instead of traveling that road, you'll give up and squat on the side in anger, bitterness, and frustration.

Democrat leaders tremble in fear of the possible day when Black America finally recognizes the chains those Democrats have held them in for the past 6 decades.
