What Is Really Behind The Left's Public Shaming And Cancel Culture?

March 22, 2021

It’s not about educating - it’s about subjugating.

What the National Socialist Democrats and their media puppets really want is not a mystery. We have only to look at the chilling history of repressive societies over the past century.

The signposts of Leftist goals are so stark and numerous that it would be difficult to look at their regimes without tripping over them. In the simplest of terms, it can all be boiled down to one simple phrase - complete and utter capitulation and subjugation of the entire population.

Don’t ever mistake their accusations for an interest in dialog. They don’t want any discussion or debate. The dirtiest word in their lexicon of total control is “compromise."

Just as their ideological totalitarian mentors of the last century, Russia, Germany, and China, their only goal is absolute power over a subservient and docile class of peasants and proletariats. And in order to achieve that they know that they have to punish anyone who does not grovel before their commissars or dares to think for themselves.

A recent example of this.

"Chris Harrison, the only host “The Bachelor” franchise has ever known. The internet erupted over college photos of one of this season’s contestants at an antebellum South-inspired party.” And of course, the host crumbled and groveled before the commissars of the Left. Harrison put on a pathetic performance of self-flagellation with all the typical buzzwords: Mistake, racism, oppression, sorry, sorry, SORRY.”

But it wasn’t enough - it never is.

"There’s no forgiveness under leftist orthodoxy. Its adherents don’t actually want you to be an ally; they want you to be an example. In reinstating Harrison, Hollywood would have sent the message that racists are redeemable — and they can’t have that. Instead, Harrison is right where the cancel mob wants him — lying prostrate in the dirt, stripped of his beliefs and his dignity, and serving as a warning sign to onlookers: Don’t cross us, or you could be next.” (1)

Had Harrison studied the history of the totalitarian regimes of the last century he might have had a better idea of what he could expect by belly-crawling to the Marxist Left.

Once they had satisfied themselves by humiliating their victims there was never any forgiveness or re-integration into the ranks of the faithful. Nope - it was off to the Gulag or “re-education camp" with you comrade.

And that is exactly what today's Democrat Socialists see themselves as - 21st Century Marxists - whose sole job is to ruthlessly crush any and all vestiges of freedom of speech, freedom of association, and especially, freedom of thought.

They demonstrate every day from the top down that their party does not want dialog, discussion, and compromise. They want - no, demand - only subservience.

There is, not, nor will there ever be in their book, any common ground. It’s literally “my way or the highway,” and that highway leads only to ostracism and figuratively or perhaps even literally, the Gulag.

Thus there is only one logical response to the new commissars of cancel culture - Resist.

As Heinrich Heine wrote; "Wherever they burn books they will also, in the end, burn human beings.

We see that now every day. It starts off small; Dr. Seuss, Disney cartoons, classic literature. Every day brings a new victim to the Democrats' cancel culture bonfire. And just like the victims of purges and persecutions of 20th-century totalitarian regimes, apologies and promises bring nothing but contempt and even greater persecution. Because dictators only respect strength. They will try to destroy you for it - but they fear it.

That is why you can’t give in to them. Don’t apologize. Don’t prevaricate, and most of all never, never grovel to their shrill denunciations.

Instead, push back. Stand up tall and true to your beliefs. Challenge them on their intolerance - their bigotry - their ignorance - and yes, their racism. The racism of hating and discriminating against every race and every individual they have not deemed worthy of existence. That’s what the National Socialists did in Germany 100 years ago. It was racist then and it is racist now!

Stand up. Stand tall. Stand proud. Most importantly - never apologize for standing for Freedom.

Regarding this article by Rick Wasley: Absolutely accurate and correct; what is so frustrating for those of us who are not "woke" is trying to network and stay in contact with like-minded conservatives. With de-platforming sabotaging our desire to communicate, and wanting to encourage others to stay strong, we are at a technical loss to proceed. It is also frustrating that any comments sent to our Republican reps seem to be falling on deaf ears. On Jan 1st, I angrily gave up Facebook due to its bias. Our main source of encouragement is seeing our church friends. I could really use a Trump rally about now.
