Biden Wants To Ban All Firearms

As usual, the Democrats try to capitalize on a tragedy. Before the smoke was clear in Boulder, Colorado on Monday, March 22, 2021, declarations were made by national politicians on down to the left-wing media that a white supremacist had murdered 10 people. The Democrats spewed their usual diatribes of racism, assault rifles, and blaming Republicans for the shooting.

Then comes the big oops - the shooter is not a white supremacist as the Democrats had stated, but a Syrian Arab, a refugee brought into the country during the Obama/Biden Administration, named Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa. So, is this a lone wolf terrorist act? Now the Democrats are shying away from saying anything about ethnicity or a motive.

Joe Biden wants to ban firearms because it’s the fault of the big boogeyman assault rifle and Republicans.

The left is using this tragedy, as they always do, to call for gun control. Sen. John Kennedy (R-La), said, “We don’t need more gun control, we need more idiot control.” People need to be held accountable for their own actions; it’s called responsibility. For the socialist left, it’s always the fault of the firearm, an inanimate tool that was misused, and it’s the fault of legal law-abiding gun owners. Any excuse is good enough for the gun control nuts to push their police state agenda.

The socialist left claims they only want to ban assault rifles and have background checks. First, the rifles that the left calls "assault rifles" are not assault rifles. To be an assault rifle, the firearm must have the submachine capability of fully automatic firing. None of the rifles characterized by the left are assault rifles, but they don’t care. Second, background checks along with waiting periods prior to purchasing a firearm already exist. They really want to ban all firearms, which is in direct violation of the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

As with many of these cases, the shooter was well known for being unstable and was being looked at by the FBI. If the shooter had been pulled in for a mental evaluation, he would not have been able to legally purchase a firearm, and his 10 victims would be alive.

With this shooting, as with many mass shootings, the shooter’s mental health issues were known to others. If someone is known to have out-of-control mental health issues and needs help, those who know him should let law enforcement know. That will save lives.
