If You Don't Like Our Flag, Try Cuba
Ms. Berry should be kicked off Team USA.

Last week we were subjected to yet another immature display of an athlete snubbing the American Flag. Olympic athlete Gwen Berry, who placed third in the U.S. Olympic Trials for the hammer throw turned her back to the American Flag when our National Anthem was played. Then she covered her head with a towel featuring the words, “Activist Athlete,” which proved her actions were pre-planned and not a spontaneous tantrum.
Despite her unpatriotic actions, she could count on the White House to makes excuses for her. For instance Jen Psaki, Biden's Press Secretary, who supported Berry’s action, tried to justify the actions of this pathetic loser. She disgraced our country, she disgraced our flag, she disgraced her teammates for 15 minutes of fame. From here on out, this action will over shadow any accomplishments she might attain in the future.
This goes beyond bad sportsmanship. It reflects on the team and our country. She has made it quite clear, she has no business on the U.S. Olympic Team. However, I doubt our Olympic team officials have the guts to throw Ms. Berry off Team USA.
If this sounds harsh, it should. There should be no tolerance for this type of behavior. Ms. Berry needs to understand that thousands of Americans of all colors and faiths have died for the flag that she so flippantly disgraced. I for one, have had many family members and friends who have had their coffins draped with the American Flag. I most certainly do not want an individual who has exhibited such behavior, representing my country and the American Flag.
