This Teaching Moment in Our Republic

The catastrophic Afghanistan withdrawal is a representation of what has gone wrong with our federal government and of how we got where we are in 2021. To counter this travesty, the average American must not allow the Afghanistan withdrawal to be covered up. Instead, a detailed and legal analysis of the coup MUST be conducted, or else we run the future risk of living with tyrants more wicked than the present one.

We know the Biden Coup and their subservient news network owners (about 15 billionaires and six corporations own most of the U.S. media outlets) want to deceive us into moving on from this treasonous act as swiftly as feasible. How can this statement be proved? It can be proved because history, the media’s own chronicled history, shows that when the Democrats need a favor, they turn to the news networks. Randomly select newsreels of major US crises that occurred during Democrat presidencies and see for yourself.

This teaching moment is extremely critical if we are to ever learn from the events that led to the high level of corruption and basement level incompetence our government exhibits every day. The fact that they would have us believe that the shameful abandonment of Americans in Afghanistan was a victory reveals an unparalleled degree of insanity and an unprecedented level of contempt for you and me. Because of this singular event, our nation is quite literally now more exposed to terrorist attacks both from within and without than we have ever been.

Now it is time to say what others are saying since they are right. Stop watching the major news networks, because they are lying to you. It is no mystery why the upper echelon in Washington supposes that the average American will believe anything they are told, because about half of the country does. If you allow someone else to do your thinking for you, don’t be surprised when they do. How do we take advantage of this teaching moment?

First, we examine our vulnerabilities. It is crucial we understand by comprehensive dissection of our national history what led to this moment and exposed us to such incompetency and untruthfulness at the highest levels of our government leadership.

Second, we each summon our full measure of courage to stand for the truth. I do not use the word courage lightly as I know that today in our safe Western American culture, we do not really know the meaning of the word courage. But that is about to change. There are some in local government leadership that I consider to be the most courageous, who are standing for truth and integrity in the face of our federal government during these grim days of depravity and deception.

The phrase “stand for truth” is controversial to be sure. When a patriot uses the phrase, he/she means it as an expression to defend their rights as outlined in the Declaration and Constitution. When a traitor uses the phrase, he/she means it as a “right” to defend their expression as a conspirator against the Declaration and Constitution.

Third, we must do something. Surely, something must be done. Surely, America is worth protecting. The protective instinct that causes a parent to defend their children is similar to the instinct which causes a patriot to defend their land. The following from the Declaration of Independence has for far too long been viewed as a suggestion instead of the declaration that it is.

“But when a long Train of Abuses and Usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object, evinces a Design to reduce them (you and me) under absolute Despotism, it is their Right, it is their Duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future Security.” - Declaration of Independence

In this statement the authors of the Declaration are giving us instructions on what to do if we should, God forbid, find ourselves in a similar situation as they were prior to inscribing those words into the heart of our national fabric. And we are there.

In the movie National Treasure, there is a teaching moment between the lead character and his associate. When explaining what the above quote meant he says, "If there's something wrong, those who have the ability to take action have the responsibility to take action."

Whether the January 6 Capitol Building riot was coordinated or not, the idea that Democrats can get away with accusing the President of the United States and American citizens of illegal activity without one shred of evidence is proof enough that a "throwing off of such government" is a completely legal course of action according to the Constitution. Is it time?

What government? The very one that would tell you to wear a mask and get a vaccine shot or else. The very one that would tell you to give up your gun(s) or they will be taken (by force?). We have petitioned for redress, yet here we are with the most divisive leaders in our nation's history. For this reason…

“In every stage of these Oppressions we have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble Terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated Injury.  A Prince, whose Character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the Ruler of a free People.  Future ages will scarce believe that the hardiness of one man, adventured within the short compass of twelve years only, to build a foundation so broad & disguised for tyranny, over a people fostered & fixed in principles of Freedom.” - Declaration of Independence

The battle that ensued was long and fraught with danger. The men that fought and gave their lives secured the victory. Then, with the nation’s freedom from tyranny secure, the framers resolved.

“We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these Colonies, solemnly publish and declare, That these united Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States... And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.” - Declaration of Independence

I emphasize “our sacred Honor” because I believe the lack of this sacred honor in our nation’s leaders has by the outcome of their actions made them an antagonist of our freedoms.

Today, as in our nation’s founding, a return to pledging our lives, fortunes, and honor is necessary to help this nation that we love to survive and thrive. As we know from the history books devoted to historical accuracy, that those who fought for America’s independence were literally giving their lives for the greater good and the good of future generations. Today we need true patriots, patriots who will boldly stand for freedom. Are you one?
