A New Beginning Or The Same Old Story

We must challenge the forces of division, moral and cultural corruption in this New Year, for the sake of the future and our way of life.

Well, we’ve made it, 2022 is here. Whatever your circumstances may be, hopefully they're good; we have lived through two years of sickness, death, and life-changing hardships. So what can we expect in this New Year? If you’re like me, you’ve probably considered what might lie ahead and the path we will take; at this point for many, the future seems uncertain and dismal.

Aside from everything else, there are the New Year’s resolutions we have to deal with. Under normal conditions, free of the pandemic, we would consider the current state of our lives, stop procrastinating, and try and put our failures and vices behind us; take a good hard look in the mirror. Do you have the will and inner strength to make the sacrifice and do without something you enjoy?

According to researchers - yes, there are those who study this human condition - at certain calendar points, we are prone to assess our situation, possibly for getting a fresh start. They have even given it a name: “The fresh start effect.” Sadly however these are not normal times, and committing to making a resolution would, I believe, be last on a person’s list for this New Year. People are just too involved in dealing with the pandemic, mandates, vaccinations, testing, and having to listen to all the politicians, experts, and the media know-it-alls who most of the time, know nothing.

In the midst of all the troubles and challenges we’ve had to deal with, there is something else that we will face in 2022 that will acerbate and continue to upset life as we know it. There is little doubt the Biden administration and Democrats will do everything in their limited power, any unscrupulous and devious scheme, and I believe even lie and cheat, to advance their agenda. They have proven they are incapable of dispensing fair and honest governance; there is nothing beneath their contemptuous and radical extremism that is out of bounds.

To some, this might sound like a rather extreme criticism of Democrats, but one only has to consider their behavior and attempts to circumvent the Constitution and even conventional standards; this is especially true of the president who at times seems detached and even unaware of his surroundings. Democrats have also hinted they will make every effort to bring back the Build Back Better plan, which the majority leader in the Senate has promised, in some version. 

January 6 will be the one-year anniversary of the Capital protest. Have you considered why this incident has been politicized, and so vociferously committed to by Democrats, the media, and even some Republicans? It has nothing to do with an insurrection, a threat to democracy by a violent MAGA enraged mob. This entire charade is all about ensuring that Donald Trump is denied another opportunity to run for president; he is the nemesis of the deep state and so-called ruling class, and poses a direct threat to their insidious agenda. 

And as we begin the New Year, Democrats are ratcheting up the January 6 protest investigation. They are engaged in this nefarious scheme, while the American people suffer from a virus in all its variant phases, and inflation, higher prices, and for some, hopelessness. America’s prestige, credibility, and reputation have been tarnished, her domestic and foreign affairs are threatened by an administration in shambles, and whose policies have destabilized the world’s political environment. Russia and China are making advances to force their dominance over independent nations, all while our enemies wait patiently for the right time to strike.

The Biden administration, media, big business, Silicon Valley, and the progressive left pose a serious and harmful threat to our well-being. But as Americans, we are obligated to hold fast to our values, principles, and Judeo-Christian ethic. Although we are a divided people, we must not lose sight of the traditional institutions that are the bedrock and foundation of this great nation.

Let us face the New Year with the same spirit of the Founding Fathers who with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence mutually pledged to each other their “Lives, Fortunes and sacred honor.” For like these brave and honorable souls, we too are in a fight for our way of life, and let us pledge to stand strong in this New Year, and confront and defeat the forces of division, corruption, and anti-Americanism.
