Return To Normalcy

January 24, 2022

Getting back to normal will be difficult and treacherous. All the scheming and energy of the left will be thrust upon the people to steer them off the path.

“Return to Normal” is a phrase that has been spoken and written about often, but given even greater expression since the advent of the coronavirus last year. You might ask, what exactly was normal before, and given what the nation has been through, what should normal look like now? I believe in the minds of most people, a return to normalcy represents a transition from the current period of crisis, unrest, frustration, and great division, to what each of us thinks normal looked like before all this began.

To achieve our goal, we would travel along a path to a destination that seems familiar. Some might say we can never go back, and that we must build on what we have now. Others, we will not reach normalcy as long as certain elements in society, for their own devious reasons, thwart our efforts. And I believe for this reason we have regressed and traveled more along a road to perdition, which has taken us to a place of darkness, turmoil, and uncertainty, and the divide has grown even greater among the people.

The question remains how you perceive normalcy; let me take a stab at that. We have come to rely on the government and those that have been designated as experts, to establish and implement policies and practices that are supposedly (assumed) meant to ensure our health and safety. And although the virus may have disrupted our way of life and taken away what we perceive as normal, I believe we can find our way back, and rediscover what we left behind.

There is a set of timeless reference documents that have all the particulars necessary, and that spell out in specific and unambiguous terms the meaning of what normalcy was, is, and will be in America. The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution encompasses all we require, for within their hollowed pages, they established a direction, vision, and creed to live by, and what we can look to for guidance. Honor, dignity, generosity, fortitude, and courage are all we need to find normalcy again. These are qualities that have never been scarce among the American people; some of us however have set them aside, and allowed fear and the voices of vituperation and contempt to cloud our minds.

Over the past few years, and to a greater extent since January 20, 2021, the government has recklessly, ruthlessly, and with unrelenting abandon, undermined and sought to circumvent the Constitution for their own nefarious, self-serving, and power-hungry agenda. The Biden administration was thought to be the salvation of this nation, and would deliver us from the grip of the great disrupter and tyrant, former President Trump.

At his inauguration, President Biden proclaimed that he would “Heal the soul of the nation.” But since assuming power, Biden and his back room ‘brain thrust’ has proven itself incapable of governing and upholding his promise of bringing unity and normalcy back. They have governed from the extreme radical progressive left to implement authoritarian rule over the people, and have threatened the separation of powers clause in the Constitution. Through mandates and threats, they have sought to federalize the workforce, regulate private business and religion, and stymie free speech.

These disturbing and outrageous attempts to transform what was normal, a way life we have come to know and accept through the years, into something un-American, must be stopped. Say what you will about former President Trump, but he did and hopefully will once again lead this nation on the right path. He governed from a position of strength, national sovereignty and “America First,” and was an advocate for religious liberty, freedom, and the dignity and sanctity of life. These have always been issues that most of the people endorsed and lived by.

The America people will hopefully have the chance to travel the path back. It might not have been an ideal way of life for some people, and some might have to be dragged back kicking and screaming, but it was a good normal and acceptable to most. The opportunity will come in November and the midterm elections. Democrats must be defeated handily; it’s our only chance to find our way back, if only to a modicum of what was normal.

I am sorry, this variant does not approach me.

When he talks about "healing the nation," the President is a liar. His goal in my opinion is to sabotage the nation. He has been a liar all of his career.
