Gun Violence? Violence is Violence

Somehow, every time we have a spate of crime, especially in the Democrat-run cities, we hear loud cries about “Gun Violence.” Then the obedient lame stream news media begins their near-religious mantras, “Gun Violence,” and blaming a gun for the crime and violence. 

Someone needs to explain how a firearm can come to life and be able to load, aim, and shoot by itself. A gun, virtually any type of firearm, is a piece of machinery, a mix of metal, polymers, and wood. It cannot think for itself, it cannot move on its own, and it cannot pull the trigger. It takes a supposedly thinking human being to operate the gun. It’s called personal responsibility, but for left-wing politicians, there is no such thing as personal responsibility, it’s all the gun’s fault. 

Over the last couple of years, we have seen one violent riot after another, with wholesale looting and arson in almost every case. No effort was made to lock up the violent offenders, thus giving a green light to the thugs, and the crime rate skyrocketed in those cities. Now, the mostly Democrat city leaders who were blaming their problems on white supremacy and racism, are blaming the crime rate on guns. 

So, what do incompetent and corrupt politicians, who want an authoritarian socialist style of government, do - they want gun control. Chicago was offered federal assistance from then-President Donald Trump, but Chicago Mayor Lightfoot refused the help. Now that Joe Biden sits in the White House, Chicago wants Federal Law Enforcement to help enforce the law on their streets; Lightfoot wants a federalized police force. 

First, the socialist Democrat city leaders stifled the police, defunded them, and tied their hands. Then, they ignore and sometimes agitated the massive crime wave that they helped create. Next, they blame all of the problems on guns and look to the Federal Government to crack down on guns. Again, the socialists that run the Democrat Party don’t believe in personal responsibility, will claim that a block of machinery, a gun, is itself responsible. Are you starting to see the real issue? They want gun control, and then gun confiscation from private owners, violating our 2^nd Amendment Rights. 

The socialists running the White House do not believe that you or I have any individual rights. They have to destroy the 2^nd Amendment, our right to keep and bear arms, in order to seize total control of the United States government. They fear the armed public more than anything else. Eliminating gun ownership will guarantee their ability to seize dictatorial power over the United States. The more the socialists control the government, it is more likely they will use governmental power to force the surrender of firearms.

Joe Biden, in one year, has nearly destroyed our country. He has given us open borders, bad foreign policy, a collapsing economy, he is trying to take over our elections, spies on Congress, encourages total lawlessness by government agencies, and has botched the pandemic. This isn’t incompetence, this is a deliberate and coordinated attack against the United States. Maybe, in keeping with the world of woke, we should re-identify the gun as really nothing more than a high-speed hole puncher.
