Easter Story

Betrayed, condemned, mocked, and scourged,
and crucified for the sins of man.
But the greatest story doesn't end there,
it's where it all began.

As He hung in agony, He cried forgive them,
for they know not what they do,
and with those words to His Father in heaven,
all things were made anew.

He died upon the cross that day
and was buried in a tomb of stone,
rose from the dead for our salvation,
and for our sins He would atone.
