Biden: “I Am A Child Of God” – Does He Think Abortion Is A God-Given Right?"...as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."May 9, 2022When Joe Biden declared on Wednesday May 5, 2022, that the government did not give him his rights, and then said “I am a child of God.” – was he implying that God gave women the right to abort their own offspring? Let’s nip this one in the bud quickly so we can examine the rest of Joe Biden’s specious theology with no dispute. We could extract a dozen verses of scripture that would easily condemn the practice of abortion, starting with the sixth commandment taken from Exodus 20:13. “Thou shalt not kill” is also rendered as thou shalt not murder in some versions of the Bible. If taking a life is wrong then taking an innocent life would be the supercharged version of the commandment, and it comes with a very clear warning – let’s look. “Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.” (Ex 23:7) Where in the Bible do we find the right to abort? The Bible, like the Constitution of the United States, is completely void of any inference to a right to abort. There is neither a right nor a mandate to kill our own children. In fact, it is nowhere in scripture even remotely implied. The opposite is what is true. All disregard for the lives of children is severely condemned. There will never be a call or a need to kill children as long as someone is willing to take them under wing in adoption or a person is willing to go forward as the head of a single-parent household. If all options are exhausted, who does not know that you can still leave a baby off at the nearest firehouse almost with complete impunity and anonymity? Mr. Biden’s allusion to a God-given “right to abort” borders on blasphemy. God gave no one the right to reach into the womb and deny a developing human being the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Our founders knew this because they knew their Bibles. It is not just Biden’s views on abortion, but his idea that he is a “child of God” that we question. There are generally three views on what determines if we are children of God. According to Christ – only one is correct. The world's broadest and most erroneous view is that, if you are born on the planet earth you are a child of God. This is the universalist view, and it is not even close. The religionist view is that if you go to church or follow some code of behavior you are a child of God. The old-time preachers are noted for often saying, you can spend all the time you want sitting in the strawberry patch, but that doesn’t make you a strawberry. The third and Christ-given definition of what makes a child of God says, if you are not “born again,” you have missed the train. “Jesus answered and said unto him, ‘Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.’” (John 3:3) These words are exactly why there is doubt about Joe Biden's proclamation. No truly born again, Bible-reading person in the world could honestly or correctly say that God allows or sanctions abortion. Have the abortionists missed the train? Has Joe Biden missed his train? Has our entire generation been guided by the weakest, most hypocritical and silly slogan of all time? The temptation to say “yes” and walk away is great for this writer, but some explanation is due – I suppose. The slogan, “My body – my choice” has been ground into the American social repertoire so much so, that it is like taking a pill to induce nausea. It is the great ipecac idiom of idiots the world over. On the most fundamental level as in kindergarten, what is growing inside a pregnant woman’s body is not, nor will ever be her body. But if they insist – why do they want to kill their own bodies? That is neither expedient nor lawful in this nation? The famed slogan was dead at the gate – but the million mumbling minions who support Planned Parenthood and slaughtering the unborn have not noticed. The supercharged hypocrisy in the “my body” slogan is clearly demonstrated for us by the recent COVID-19 pandemic. The answer is easily seen in this basic question. If it’s your body and your choice, then how does fear, the CDC, Anthony Fauci, state governors or the president of the United States get to tell you that you must wear a mask and you must be vaccinated? Why haven’t the abortionists refused all face coverings and jabs – doesn’t the slogan cover that? Over sixty million little human beings have been cut up, chemically burned, and ripped from the comfort of their mother’s womb all related to a choice born of sin, and related by a silly slogan. If it’s a choice, we may want to consider a better choice. "If it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD." Joshua 24:15
