The Deep State, Corruption, And Its Victims

October 31, 2022

The Department of Justice and its agencies, the FBI and CIA, have become politicized as an operational strong arm, threatening anyone who disagrees or criticizes the Biden administration.

As you read this, two years will have passed marking a particular day that might very well have had a significant impact on the lives of the American people. It was on that day that a cabal of deep state bureaucrats came together to change the outcome of a presidential election, and possibly the course of history. The effect of what occurred has intensified an already greatly divided nation, socially, culturally, and ideologically.

Does October 19, 2020, sound familiar? I would tend to think not. It was a few weeks prior to this day that the New York Post, the oldest newspaper in America, ran a headline bombshell story on the Hunter Biden email laptop scandal. Most of us are aware of how the media, with few exceptions, reacted to the revelation of what could be the involvement of the Biden family, including then-Vice President Biden, with foreign entities, engaged in money-making and influence-peddling schemes, and how this threat to democracy evaded any investigation at the time.

The reaction from most venues was that the Post article on the laptop sounded more like, here we go again, Russian interference, and that the device, although then in the hands of the FBI, was not made available to any other news outlet, except for the Post, who had endorsed Donald Trump. So it came to pass weeks prior to the presidential 2020 election, the story was suppressed especially on social media platforms; the result was that most of the American people were not made privy to what is now accepted as a legitimate news story by all media.

But there was an even greater aspect to what I, and many others, believe was a clandestine cover-up that sought to ensure the election of Joe Biden. Just two weeks prior to the election, following the Post’s article, a statement was issued and signed by 51 former intelligence officials. Most of the names would be unfamiliar to the American people, but included such high-level individuals as former CIA Directors Michael Hayden, Leon Panetta, John Brennan, Michael Morell, and the former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper.

The statement claimed the New York Post’s article “has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation,” and in their opinion, the “Russians are involved in the Hunter Biden email issue.” “The Russians will pull out all stops to do anything possible to help Trump win, and/or weaken Biden should he win.” “It is high time the Russians stop interfering in our democracy.”

The 51 former intelligence officials knowingly, and to this day unapologetically, signed on to a complete scandalous fabrication. The fact that not one of these partisan, Trump-hating deadbeats ever bothered to research or seek any information on the laptop and emails, reveals just how cynical and completely disingenuous their interference in the election proved to be. It was these naysayers that posed the real threat to democracy.

You can trace back to the 2016 presidential election, the involvement of a number of the 51 who were also part of attempts to undermine, discredit, and question the legitimacy of the newly elected President Donald Trump. These scoundrels are all part of the Washington, D.C. inner circle. Many appear on left-wing cable and network news channels, attend the same gatherings, know the same journalists, and are deep-state activists.

The statement's impact and effect on the election were made manifest in the October 22, 2020, presidential debate, when candidate Joe Biden’s rebuttal, in responding to Donald Trump’s accusation of Biden’s possible involvement with his son’s foreign shenanigans, brought up the statement and the 51 former intelligence officials.

One of the signers, David Priess, recently appeared on Fox News and was questioned by the host about his involvement. With flagrant arrogance and self-righteous indignation, Priess, in defending the statement, inferred that perhaps people were too stupid to understand the intent, and that nowhere in the statement was there any mention made of “Russian disinformation.” He went on to say “It’s not my fault that people read and then don’t look up definitions.” In other words, if you read the statement, and did so intelligently, then you would have understood that at no point did it say that there was definitely Russian interference, it only just suggested it.

One could not find a more appropriate example that captures the unjust nature of what took place here, than in this quote by Edmund Burke who wrote,

“Men (and women) of intemperate minds cannot be free; their passions forge their fetters.”

The 51 officials involved in this infamous chapter, and their motivation to interfere in a presidential election, are prisoners of their own hatred and arrogance; they should wallow in their own misery for this travesty of justice.
