My Memo to YouTubeThe Left Still Thinks it Owns Black AmericansJune 15, 2020After watching a video by a marvelous young black woman named Candace Owens, I noticed that YouTube did not allow any comments. When I clicked on the button to learn why comments had been disabled, their explanation was that the "content provider" may have turned off comments. Candace would never do that, because she is not frightened by controversy and would answer the comments with love and logic. The other possibility (the actual reason, in this case) was that YouTube turned the comments off to "protect minors." Then they made the mistake of asking if I found this explanation helful (I did not), and gave me a place to comment. Here is my love letter to YouTube... You people set yourself up as censors - but you never censor liberal hate speech. You censor someone like Candace Owens (who is not a hater) because she speaks truths that you liberals don't want to hear. The very thought that a black woman would be a conservative is an affront to you. You want to keep all blacks on the plantation - only allowed to vote Democrat. Any "uppity black" like Candace who votes Republican is called a coon, an Uncle Tom and worse by fellow blacks and by white Democrats as well. Hopefully there will someday be an unbiased platform like YouTube, but which treats all Americans equally.
