What’s a Patriot to Do?

There is no question in anyone’s mind (except the most naïve) that President Trump won the election on November 3rd. And there’s no question that it was stolen from him by the Democrat political machine that has been rigging federal state and local elections for decades.

You might think, “There’s no question in Republicans’ minds, but I’m sure Democrats don’t believe that.” I know the Democrat leadership knows that Trump won, because they – along with billionaires like George Soros, Bill Gates, and other dedicated globalists – rigged the election and financed all the illegal activity. As far as rank-and-file-Democrats, with all the evidence that has been exposed, I’m sure that they know that election fraud took place, but they will never say it out loud.

The only Democrats who are not guilty of either perpetrating the fraud or helping cover it up are the most naïve among them. They don’t understand the Constitution or the issues. They just vote Democrat because their families have always done so, or because their unions tell them they have to. They’re only guilty of being simple-minded.

So, what’s a Patriot to do? We need to pray that light will be shown on the evil that has been done in 2020 – not against President Trump, but against America itself. “Pray? Don’t tell me it’s come to that!” people sometimes joke. We want to do something. We want to feel like we’re making a difference. You can, but not in the way you might want to. Demonstrating and waving Trump flags might make you – and the President – feel better. But judges are not influenced by demonstrations.

True intercessory pray makes a difference. Pray the Mr. Trump won’t get discouraged. He has been the most persecuted man in America for the last four years. Pray that God will give him strength. Pray for the light to expose the darkness that threatens our nation’s existence. Pray that justice will prevail. And then trust God to do His job.

“Well, what can we do to help America?” Obviously, prayer is number one. But if you want to do something, get involved in the Georgia Senate races. People often say, “All politics is local.” In the case of the two Senatorial runoffs in Georgia, that is most decidedly not the case. Every Conservative has a stake in what happens in Georgia on January 5, 2021.

So, what can you do to save America from both Chambers of Congress being controlled by Socialists like Bernie Sanders and the air-head OCA? If you live in or near Georgia, volunteer for the Senate campaigns. Man the phone banks, knock on doors, do whatever the campaigns ask to help. If you are retired, go to Georgia for a few weeks as a missionary to help these two Republicans save their seats –for America.

Normally I believe citizens should donate to the people who represent them – either their District in the case of Representatives, or their state, in the case of Senators. But the Democrats have broken all the rules and norms, forcing Republicans to fight fire with fire. For decades Democrats have poured billions of dollars into campaigns in key states. We need to do the same. If you have never donated to a political race, these two are worthy of being your first time. If these sitting Senators lose their seats, it will be disastrous for Patriots, Christians, Conservatives, and Republicans. You can be sure the Socialists, Progressives and Democrats understand this, and will lavish more money on the Democrat challengers than they can spend.

Politics is like war. In fact, it is war. And wars must often be fought on several fronts. If a general concentrates all his resources on the battle in front of him, he risks the danger of being outflanked. That means the enemy could send a force to attack his army from his left or right flank – or possibly both at once.

The battle most of us are focused on is the presidential race. Don’t be distracted (or discouraged) by that and let the enemy outflank us in what is arguable the more important battle – the battle for the Senate. If the President retains his office- and I believe he will – he will have little power if the enemy controls both the House and the Senate.

Each Chamber of Congress has its own unique powers. The most obvious in the case of the House is that it controls spending – it’s called the “power of the purse.” The other significant power is the power to prefer Articles of Impeachment. This is the power that Wicked Pelosi misused earlier this year. She knew that there was no chance that the President would be removed from office; she just wanted to embarrass him. The consequence of this abuse of power was that tens of thousands of Americans died of the China Virus while the Administration was distracted.

The House remains in Democrat control. Nothing will change that until the mid-term elections two years from now, during which I believe that Republicans will win a large majority. Pelosi had predicted a twelve-seat gain for Democrats in the House. Instead, Republicans gained thirteen twelve seats and Democrats lost thirteen (with nine races still to be decided. Republicans held every incumbent seat, and won 28 of 29 competitive seats. The Democrats hold the House by the slimmest of margins. This momentum for Republicans will continue into 2022, and Nancy Pelosi will be looking for a new job.

The Senate is more important. It is the firewall that – so far – has kept the Democrats from passing massive spending bills and raising taxes even more on the middle class. It has also preventing Pelosi from passing hundreds of overtly Socialist bills passed in the House, but ignored by the Senate. It can provide–or withhold–its “advice and consent” to treaties negotiated by the President. The Senate also has the responsibility of confirming officials to the highest offices in the land. Losing the Senate would mean that no Christian, Conservative, or Patriot would be confirmed. And the Senate would pass the most dangerous Socialist agenda America has ever seen, pushing us further into the embrace of a one-world government.

Republicans currently hold 50 Senate seats to the Democrats 46. However, the two Independents in the Senate are both Northeastern Socialists who vote with the Democrats. So the fact that both Georgia Senate seats are up for grabs makes Georgia’s races national, rather than local. We must win both of them.

If we do, we will have a two-vote majority – safe, but not comfortable, with Liberal Republicans like Mitch Romney, Susan Collins, and Lisa Murkowski changing sides to vote with Democrats on some issues. If we lose one of the Georgia races, and just one RINO (Republican In Name Only) votes with the Dems, the Vice-President will have to break the tie. If the Democrats win both seats in Georgia, and two RINO’s vote with the Liberals (as has happened several times) the count will be 52 to 48.

Unfortunately, votes on bills and confirmations are not the only important issue in the Senate. The leader of the majority party is the Senate Majority leader. (Imaginative title, isn’t it?) This is currently Mitch McConnell. If we win the two Georgia seats the Senate will be 50-50, which means that whoever controls the White House also names the Senate Majority Leader. This is due to the fact that the Vice-President is officially the President of the Senate. He seldom attends Senate sessions; his primary role is to break ties when needed. But as president, he is the 101st member of the Senate, which means that he, along with the 50 members of his party in this scenario, makes the Senate 51 – 50.

Senate Majority Leader, like Speaker of the House, is not just a title. These leaders wield an inordinate amount of power. Most Americans think that any Senator or Representative can bring up a bill and the respective Chamber will vote on it. That’s not even close to the truth. First, the chairmanship of almost all committees is held by a member of the majority party. These committees normally must consider bills before they can even be considered by the full Chamber.

But the Senate Majority Leader (or Speaker of the House) controls which bills are voted upon with an iron fist. Republicans can offer bills in the House until they are hoarse. But they’d better have lots of winter clothing, because hell will freeze over before Madame Pelosi allows a bill she doesn’t like to reach the floor. Even if the majority of the House (including some Democrats) are ready and willing to pass the bill, they will never get a chance to vote on it unless Pelosi OK’s it. The same is true in the Senate; Mitch McConnell currently has that power there.

Imagine the nightmare that would ensue if the Democrats controlled both Chambers. They could pass anything, even if Communist China wrote the bill. Of course, the President could veto it, but if they can muster enough votes they can override a presidential veto.

What is at stake in Georgia is the control of the U.S. Senate. In a larger sense, the runoff election for Georgia’s two senate seats will determine whether Crazy Joe and the evil Kamala will have absolute dictatorial control of our country – IF they are successful in stealing the White House.

As I have had to remind dozens of Christians in the past month, no matter who controls any branch of government, God is still on His throne, and he has the last say. The Bible says that we should not grow weary in doing the right thing spiritually. The same is true here. The devil and his minions would love for us to grow tired and become discouraged. Don’t let that happen. God is in control, but He expects us to be good citizens and do our part.

Don’t forget what’s at stake: religious freedom, our national sovereignty, the prosperity (or poverty) of our country, and the liberty of all Americans. I know some will criticize me for being politically incorrect and calling the Democrat party our enemy. But when one group or party advocates for the murder of unborn children; the destruction of the family as defined by the Bible; silencing Christians and accusing us of “hate crimes” for preaching the Word of God; for the destruction of American values; and for giving Communist nations control of America; what else can we call them?

Most Democrats are good people. They are as conservative as most Republicans. They don’t want America to become the servant of the evil nations which control the United Nations. They don’t want drug addicts and perverts ruining our cities and towns. And most of them they sure don’t want the government to take away what the Founding fathers gave us to protect us from tyranny: our Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms. In fact, most Democrats who don’t live in the big cities are very much like most Republicans in these regards.

The problem is not that they are stupid; it is that they have been brainwashed and deprived of truth. The Media Research Center polled citizens who voted for Biden in seven swing states.

Here are the results of their research:

“The survey showed that 45.1% of Biden voters were unaware of the financial scandals of Biden's son, Hunter Biden, and how Hunter's business had been wrapped up in Biden's work in foreign affairs while vice president under President Barack Obama.

“It further showed 35.4% of Biden voters were unaware of his former aide Tara Reade's allegation that Biden sexually assaulted her on Capitol Hill in the 1990s, and 25.3% of his voters didn't know that Sen. Kamala Harris, D-California, Biden's vice presidential running mate, was ranked America's most "progressive" senator in 2019.

“Meanwhile, the same voters were clueless about Trump's accomplishments because the national media refused to tell them.

“More than half of those surveyed, 50.5%, did not know the United States became a net exporter of oil for the first time in 2019. Nearly half (49%) of Biden voters had no idea economic growth rebounded by 33% in the third quarter, which was a record, albeit one caused by the global pandemic lockdown that forced a 31.4% plunge in the second quarter.

“Further, 45.3% of respondents who voted for Biden had no idea the Trump administration had helped broker historic agreements between Israel and Arab nations, and 39.4% of the same voters weren't aware the five consecutive pre-election jobs reports — from June 5 to October 2 — showed a record 11.1 million jobs were created in the summer and fall.

“Incredibly, and perhaps most tellingly since the president was given widespread false blame for the spread of the COVID-19 virus in the U.S., 36.1% of Biden voters said they did not know about the administration's critical role in promoting coronavirus vaccine research and the development of a vaccine through Operation Warp Speed.”

The bottom line result of this survey was that one of every six Biden voters (17%) said they would not have voted for him had they known the facts about several of the news stories the national media refused to investigate thoroughly because they might have hurt his candidacy.

Other researchers and pollsters have revealed remarkably similar results. Do you realize how important this is? Even if the Democrats had not committed hundreds of felonies in the voter fraud and suppression activities, President Trump would have won in a landslide – if only the media had been even the slightest bit fair. It wasn’t just voter fraud by the politicians; it was media fraud that allowed people to vote without having the information they deserved.

There are many politicians and political operatives, along with the technical people who helped them rig the election who should be charged with felonies. It is harder to jail people in the media for their crimes. But the people have an interest in a free and fair exchange of ideas, and corruption-free elections. And the people – through our government – own the airwaves. The government, though the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) regulates many aspects of the activities of those who have federal broadcast licenses. For instance, they cannot broadcast pornography. A strong argument could be made that the constant lies and unrelenting attacks on the President for the last four years are as damaging as pornography.

But such and argument is not needed. The “equal time” rule was created by Congress in the pre-TV days. The law was The Radio Act of 1927, which required mandated broadcast license holders “serve the public interest.”  It regulated political advertising by broadcasters (both radio and TV). It states that if a broadcast station sells ad time or offers free time to a candidate running for an office, it has to offer similar access to other qualified candidates. This rule is still law today. But another rule which emerged from that law, the “Fairness Doctrine,” was repudiated by the FCC in yet another example of bureaucrats changing laws passed by the Congress.

The “Fairness Doctrine” was part of the 1959 Communications Act. When the bill was introduced in the Senate, it included this passage:

“Broadcast frequencies are limited, and, therefore, they have been necessarily considered a public trust. Every licensee who is fortunate in obtaining a license is mandated to operate in the public interest, and has assumed the obligation of presenting important public questions fairly and without bias.”

The FCC agreed. It stated that:

“The Fairness Doctrine is the single most important requirement of operation in the public interest — the sine qua non for grant of a renewal of license.”

("Sine qua non" means Something that is essential; and absolue requirement.)

Television and radio stations were required to keep track of the number of minutes of air time given to controversial issues to be sure they could document that they had given equal time to opposing voices. Journalists had to get both sides of the story.

But, as described above, the FCC took it upon itself in 1985 to reverse its earlier approval of the Doctrine and abolish most of an important federal law. This is why it is so important that bureaucrats not be allowed their privileged status as “untouchables.” No matter how badly a government employee performs, or how much damage he or she causes, it is almost impossible to fire them because of Civil Service rules. This is why President Trump had such a hard time cleaning up the massive corruption that the Veteran’s Administration.

Ironically, it was the Democrats who opposed the FCC when it shredded the remaining parts of the “Fairness Doctrine.” They tried vigorously to reinstate it when Rush Limbaugh literally took over talk radio with his Conservative commentary. Since Liberals have always failed miserably at talk radio, they did their best to silence Rush – but to no avail.

In a strange twist, if Democrats had been successful in reinstating the “Fairness Doctrine,” the major networks and radio stations would have been forced to air the truth about Joe Biden’s sexual misconduct and his family’s enrichment form the Communist Chinese to the tune of $1.5 Billion alongside their attacks on Trump. They would have been required to talk about President Trump’s remarkable achievements while they searched for something – anything – that could be called an accomplishment by Biden.

And Crazy Joe wouldn’t be running around calling himself the President-Elect, when only his media lackeys have pronounced him such– not the Electoral College and Congress, who are the only ones who can do so.
