Song TimeMay 26, 2002by Charles E. Perry Watching Bush best the Democrats at every turn has been fun. It has also been inspiring. In fact, it inspired my poetic muse, and I wrote a song about it, with the tune stolen from "Ol’ Man River." Here it is:
Sometimes you have to get a little silly when you’re commenting on politicians, because the politicians get silly themselves. Watching the Dems grasp at straws as they flail about for an issue is amusing, and I hope you enjoyed the song. |
