Song Time

Watching Bush best the Democrats at every turn has been fun. It has also
been inspiring. In fact, it inspired my poetic muse, and I wrote a song
about it, with the tune stolen from "Ol’ Man River." Here it
is:
Dat ol’ George Bushie, he jes keep winnin’.
De Dems keep whinin’, and dey keep on losin’,
But dat ol’ George Bushie, he jes keep rollin’ along.
Dey tried with Enron, it came back to ’em.
De mud dey was slingin’ it didn’t stick to ’im.
Dat ol’ George Bushie, he jes keep rollin along.
Dey said he didn’ tell us, and dey didn’ know,
But dey got de briefin’s, now dere embarrassment show.
Dat ol’ George Bushie, he jes keep rollin’ along.
De Dems lookin’ stupid, and mighty silly,
Dey ain’t larned yet dat George ain’t de same as Billy.
Dat ol’ George Bushie, he jus keep rollin’ along.
I say dat ol’ George Bushie, he....jes...keep...rollin’......aloooooooooong.
Sometimes you have to get a little silly when you’re commenting on politicians,
because the politicians get silly themselves. Watching the Dems grasp
at straws as they flail about for an issue is amusing, and I hope you
enjoyed the song.
